Just the kind of religious funfamentalist fanaticsm we need. Let's have a book burning, like in the good old days in Pre-WWII Germany!

I'm sure the middle-east Islamic-facists would agree to get rid of Potter!! We don't need literacy in our public schools, we need a single fundamentalist religion to dictate what can be done in our government run schools!!

In fact let's pick this same person's version of the Christian bible and force that upon everyone too.

Funny, when it's someone else's fundamentalist (like Islamic in Iraq), they are extremists, and when they are Christian fundamentalists, they are righteous do-gooders. Ha!

Witchcraft aside, someone has missed the most important point. Those kids are reading. That also means that they're not in front of the tv or hooked into the playstation. They actually picked up a book. J.K. Rowling deserves a thank you note, not a book ban.

I think that if you are truly worried about your children's morals that there are far greater issues then Harry Potter. Are you afraid that you have no control over what influences your kid? If so, then Harry Potter is not where your efforts need to be concentrated.
