I am so sorry for the disappearance of your son. I hope that he is well and will be found shorltly.

Have you thought of hiring a personal investigator? I dont know if that will help.

I feel sympathy for the family but this kid had two false I.D.s and the parents knew about them and knew he was going to bars under age.

I have no sympathy for Justin Gaines. He was living on the edge and it looks like he has cashed in this chips.

Ever heard the old saying that if you don't have anything nice to say, just don't say anything at all. You are a real jerk! God forbid you ever have children that aren't perfect.

I have thought of Justin very often over the past several months and have checked his web site often. Please know that he is in my thoughts and prayers. I did not know Justin, nor his family, but this is every parent's worst nightmare. May God give you the strength to continue to search for Justin.

I can't even imagine the pain that Justin Gaines' family is going through. I continue to pray for him and his family.

Today, a man was shot in a bank parking lot. He was probably going to make a deposit or just made a withdrawal. He was just living his life.

I have tremendous sympathy for this man and his family. It is tragic that a person cannot go to a bank in peace.

Compare this with Justin Gaines. He was breaking the law and it appears no one cared about it. If I knew one of my children were going to bars under age, I would inform the police where they were and request that they be arrested.

No one wants to hold people responsible for their actions and that is why we have the Justin Gaines of the world.

If you cannot see the relationship, you really are pretty blind.

If you know what may've happened to Justin, you'll never have peace until you tell someone. Tell someone.

What an arse you are! I don't believe anyone is asking for your sympathy or judgement. You probably would call the police on your own children instead of handling the situation yourself your moron!!!

Actually since he had just turned 19, and went missing 5 months ago, that would consider him 18 at the time of disappearence...therefore amking him of legal age! Wild Bills is not 21 and up.

And I agree, if you dont have anything nice to say dont say nothing at all.

I pray for this family!

Justin, according to reports, had two false I.D. cards. Since he was missing, how did they know that unless they knew it before he disappeared.

At 18, someone is a legal adult but not an adult with all the rights of an adult. He was breaking the law and his family knew about it. If I remember correctly, he has already been caught drinking under age in a bar.

No one knows what he was doing that night and who is was with after he left Wild Bills. But I can conjecture that is he was not up to holding a prayer meeting at his local church.

The sad thing about bad luck is that it only happens occasionally. If every time someone screwed up, consequences happened, few people would thumb their noses at the law.

It appears he gambled and lost. His loss is much less serious than the lost of a soldier in Iraq. At least that person was trying to do something constructive.

This was a kid testing limits and he found them.

Jimmy,
The fact of the matter is this, you have every right to feel the way you do about this situation. However, it is very hypocritical of you to be making such a judgmental statement considering you don't even know Justin or anything about him besides the fact that he had fake identification. By saying that, you are judging his parents which is completely out of line. Maybe you should try having your child go missing. Justin was a friend of mine and now he is lost. This incident has broken many hearts and the fact that he had fake I.D.'s is irrelevant when considering the amount of pain that is searing through the bodies of his parents and friends.

So fuck you and fuck your stupid judgments. You think you are so much better because you think having a fake I.D. is bad. The fact of the matter is Justin is gone and you are clearly heartless. Maybe try putting aside your own negative experiences or flaws and learn to at least feel some sort of remorse to those who are at a loss who could have done NOTHING to prevent this event from happening.

I am afraid - I have to agree with you. Sometimes - parents prefer to be friends with the child and it is not always in the best interest of the child. Turning your head to situations just doesn't always work....not in today's climate.

Megan, you do not know the meaning of being hypocritical. No where in my posts did I say one thing and then do another.

I have taken Justin for what the papers have described and I do not like what I read about him. Fine, he was a friend of yours but that does not mean he was testing the limits of the law.

That may be what he was doing the night he disappeared. We may never know.

Pay attention kiddies, and learn! No one is responsible for your bad decisions and stupid choices but yourself. Life doesn't get any easier and somewhere around your 30's-40's you'll realize how dumb you really are/were in your teens and 20's. No one put that kid in a position of being subject to foul play but him! As for his parents, I feel no sympathy whatsoever. I raised two children who have gone on to a good professional life and I didn't do so by not paying attention to them and allowing them to hang out in bars with rest of society's losers. I've yet to hear one good answer to my question of why he didn't call his ever so caring parents when he needed a ride so bad.

And for you christian cult members who blabber on about saying tribal prayers, if Jeebus and your God didn't care enough to save him, why do you give two hoots? Or just maybe they were more concerned with helping the rest of us by removing his sorry butt from this planet.

Everytime I hear about one of you getting killed or maimed in the wee hours of the day, I'm thankful you are no longer breathing and wasting my air. If you have so muych time and energy on your hands late at night, join the Army and at least learn how to make your bed and give your mommies a rest.

Instead of you people arguing like I said about the 3rd Graders Plot to Kill Teacher, you people really need to pray. This is how I feel and im only in 6TH GRADE. This is ashame how some people treat and talk about people. If you've ever heard of the Golden Rule, it says,"Do unto others as you would have them do unto YOU". So Jimmy, IMMA PRAY 4 U!! because you really need it. Im not trying to be rude.

I have some nerve? What do you mean? According to news reports, if we are to believe them, Justin had a habit of breaking the law and now has disappeared.

The time to really care about Justin was long before he got himself in trouble.

There is a lesson to be learned to parents of young adults. Have expectations for your children.
