Thinking about a platform of 'change' to run for Governor on...Lets see, how bout...
Privatizing all government unions, so their elaborate sweetheart deal contracts are not settled on the backs of the poorest working Americans, who have no benefits!

Absolute drug testing for welfare and all gov't. handouts, and strict welfare reform!

Put the legal Blood alcohol content (BAC)back up to .12%

Reduce the legal drinking age to 18, for any active duty military personal!

Abolish most of the 20,000 or so, ridiculous gun control laws, that have never prevented a crime from being committed!

Enact mandatory 5 year,'no-parole' sentencing for possession of a firearm in any violent crime!!!

Reinstate the death penalty, with a maximum of 5 years of appeals!

Reestablish respect for teachers, with discipline in schools!

Thoroughly review, with input from all sides, any enviromental regulations, that destroy entire classes of jobs!

Generally reduce the size of government, and regulation that has been strangling jobs for decades!

Of course a positive side effect will be that these things will automatically make taxes go down to a fraction of what they are now.

Sounds awesome, I'd vote for you.

Legal pot's in there too - regulated and taxed for 'adults' at whatever legal age is agreed upon, and not these watered-down "medical" marijuana bills where it's only administered to folks THREE days away from death, and who REALLY need true narcotics like morphine or Oxycontin!

The goddamned, New Age-y, uber-vegan freak-a-zoids-from-Andromeda started that insanity when they over-glamorized a dying Timothy Leary who refused narcotics for cancer pain in favor of an herb that I believe is better for MENTAL pain. And not just on an individual level, either, but related to a sick, over-polarized society if one read last Sunday's (Feb. 10th) "Pearls Before Swine" comic strip (a definite scissor-saver - glad I didn't miss it!).

And of course they all cheered his head being decapitated to be cyrogenically-frozen just like Walt Disney because ... it's the ONLY way to 'live forever' doncha know? Gotta love these 'Eastern' religions: Spend your whole live in boring 'spiritual' meditation, and when you die guess what?... your consciousness DOESN'T continue - that's your "reward"!

For those of you who "hate all illegal drugs equally" and are concerned about your children eventually smoking pot when they reach the legal age, SUPPORT its controlled legalization so that they can procure their stashes from the local liquor store or tobacconist, and neither some scumbag who also sells crack nor the aforementioned castaways from Goofigan's Island ...
