Wow this is such a mess. Why shoot a dog that is chained, why shoot a dog inside someone's home. Who were the cops, who was in charge?

Don't be stupid! The dog was not chained and came after the entry team. Don't believe everything you read in the paper or see on TV.
And It was the right house. Blame this Vet for letting his friend sling crack from his apartment!

why should this guy need to chain his dog up if its inside his apartment? Most people leave their dogs in the house untied.

The BPD should man-up and pay for the disposal of the dog and to fix the damage they caused.

There are too many limited liability statutes for that to ever happen. How many times have the BPD let loose a hail of gunfire on the public streets just to try to take out a pooch and miss? The government protects itself first and always will.

After seeing this in the news and remembering when the police entered the wrong address and shot a 61 year old man by mistake. I googled it and could not believe how many times dogs were shot as well as people by this police brutality. Also as Lifeeee Coaaachhhh asked what did they find in the raid?

By default if emergency personnel enter a home and find a potentially threatening animal they are going to put it down. Same is true for the FD. No one wants to try and do their job while worrying about a dog attack. Doesn't mean the PD should have been there in the first place, but once they are they have a protocol.

Now who is stupid, the police did raid the wrong upper apartment. They had listed upper but there was two upper apartments, one in the front and one in the back.

The Detectives who obtained the search warrant were on the scene!
The police raided the apartment they got the search warrant for! The same search warrant the Judge signed after taking sworn testimony.

Don't believe everything you see on TV. Those reporters are as ignorant as you!

It was an honest mistake. They were looking for Lief's mother and naturally just shot the first bitch they saw.

You're sitting there watching TV with your wife and kids, when your door comes crashing down, masked men in black with sub-machine guns come rushing in, holding the guns on you and your family...They hand-cuff everyone as they literally tear your house apart. While doing so, they stomp the family cat to death.
A scene from NAZI Germany? No, not exactly. This actually occurred during the Clinton administration's assault campaign on lawful gun owners.
The rest of the story is, the assault agents ordered pizza and had a pizza party at the scene, while the family was still tied up. Oh, and of course they eventually left disappointed, as they had targeted the wrong house... No effort was ever made to help restore the damaged residence, and not even an apology. And this is not the only case of it's kind, it actually happened many times, with the wrong house being targeted...
Incident's like this were what prompted NRA's Wayne LaPierre to refer to agents as 'jack booted thugs', for which he was promptly crucified in the media after making the statement. The media completely buried the incidents that prompted the outcry.

Were to start?

La Pierre was crucified by President Daddy Bush, which the media reported....why try to shift the blame?

If that scene you are telling us about is true, And that is what caused LaPierre to use the term "jack Booted Thugs"....Why are you blaming Clinton? HE SAID THAT WHEN DADDY BUSH WAS PREISDENT!

WOW!
You wish GW was your daddy don't ya? The thugs remark was made over half a decade before GW was elected. That would be during your other dream lover's first term in office. If you are going to lie at least get your stories straight. Thanks. We all realize that is never going to happen, but we can't strip you of all of your dignity since you've already done that on your own. You're always so supportive of the anti-American crimes that your beloved libtards commit. Why exactly is that? Are you stupid or something?
