Daisy was the dog who lived at your dads firehouse.

I thought you said you were IRISH, that sounds more like polish to me.
Sounds like something a cow chews.
There is a lot of info out there but before you post it you have to be sure about it.

Here is some reading on it.

Two if Obamacare is so bad why don't the Rebs come up with something better and replace " Obamacare" and stop messing around trying to defund it?
I agree something has to be done with it but I think it should be redone, somethings taken out and other points made stronger.
Have a nice day
You fail to understand my point on Obamaphone. The "people" getting these phones believe they're from Obama!

As for Obamacare...if you had done your own research you would have found a number of Republican healthcare reforms.

You are correct, tbird, except they actually started free land line phones for people on Medicaid back when W's daddy was president.
I remember a local "character" telling me that he and his retarded wife just got hooked up with a free phone because they were on medicaid and the government justified giving them a phone as a medical expense because they might have to call the doctor. Right away, I knew the idiot was going to be calling those phone sex lines, running up the bill. About a month later he came up to me complaining that they were going to cut off his phone unless he paid an $800 bill for calling phone sex lines.
I told him to call the phone company and after 2 minutes, they could tell he was retarded and didn't know any better. That is what he did. They wrote off the bill and put a block on the phone for 1-900 calls
Tbird, did you get a free phone back in 1977 when you were on food stamps?
That's right LC. The DHHS determined that it was better for children if the welfare moochers smoked their pot and crack out on the poe-ch instead of in the livin room. So they figured free cell phones would be a better option. Also, it is harder to prove that a drug deal occurred from a particular address if it is a cell phone. Can't excacly claim that a landline was stolen right?

I agree about the phones.
I will do more reading.
But from what I have read so far these bills were before " Obamacare " was passed.
My point is that Obamacare is the law now so if it is broke and it is try to fix it not defund it.

It's not just the free phones. It's the total abuse of the system. Some of these cretins brag about having five or six of these phones.

Those of us who pay for our phone bills count the minutes to make sure we don't have to pay extra charges.

And if tbird KNEW anything about Irish people, South Buffalo and the First Ward, he would know many famous Irish people have names that end in "y" like the famous boxer Jimmy Slattery and many others

The health insurance exchange, www.healthcare.gov , which is a website meant to connect citizens to insurance companies so far has cost between $360 million and $600 million. That is just the money to set up a website that doesn't even work. Couldn't that money and all the ancillary funding spent so far on the ACA have been used in a more effective and beneficial manner to fix the healthcare system?

All I can say is they seem to be on edge.
The two people I talked to said it sounded just like LEO and that they will make sure when he retired and give me a lot more info about him.
I already have a lot of info from them and from what they say it does sound just like their dad.
Have a nice night
