Just cause he is a good kid, doesn't mean he shouldn’t be held responsible for his actions.
So what do you believe should be his punishment?
The kid probably has nightmares, wishes it did'nt happen, feels guilty everyday scared of prison and everything else.He needs counciling.I'm sure he will never drink again.license susspended,I don't know if prison is the answer, but i'm sure he will get it.how do you replace a kid. he should apoigize to the mother for the rest of his life, also go look at her room everyday and help the mother some sort of way, but i don't think the judge would go for that.

Why do you got to be so mean Alice. It seems all you care about is a nice juicy check you think you'll receive.

The party hasn't started yet. The guest of honor hasn't gotten to where the real party will happen. The kid has just started to find out what life will be like for him from now on.

Why so much commentary over a local accident?
Wanna indulge in some small minded vileness, post
stories about your loser neighbors on a thread I started called "share loser neighbor stories".

If you say Brad is a nice guy great, he’s a nice guy. I’ve never met him and don’t care.

Is it ok for me to assume he is not an idiot? Cause I’m betting he isn’t. I think he’s quite normal and has a clear look at life.

I bet he is 100% aware that it is illegal to drink alcohol under the age of 21. I also bet he knows that it is illegal to drive a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol. There is a very good chance he has heard of a law called Leandra’s Law. And I bet he has heard of a little something called ‘endangering the welfare of a child’.

One thing the system does take into account it intent. And clearly here, Brad had no intent to hurt or kill anybody. Thus, the manslaughter charge, not murder.

But clearly the kid made choices that were wrong and he knew it. And add it all up; you got a dead girl and another in a coma. Simply put, Brad has to answer for his actions. This was no accident.

And he's probably well aware of statutory rape laws. My guess is he is a spoiled POS and just doesn't care.

It was the little head thinking for the big one. That train of thought has brought down empires so in this case Brad loses. 14 year old girls have no business riding around with 19 year old boys at 4am and in this case it proved fatal. I am sure if he didn't crash that night he would have been slipping her the salami and thought he was quite the cocksman for scoring. However that didn't happen so now he is facing charges and will not like the outcome.

Most police officers are worse than the criminals they arrest, and yet they drink ,beat their wifes and complain "our job is alot more stressful then a security guard" Bullshit ! they just are on a authority trip and use the Justice system to get away with Murder.

How come there is not one good restaurant with a good band to go take your family to see on friday night! you know why ? the politicians don't care about music. they're too busy scamming money from the people, making $50 dollars an hour for doing nothing, while the average musician is starving wanting to play his music right here in buffalo.
