From what I can tell, the police have acted unjustly toward this mans family and now he is paying them back.

Unjustly? Should they allow Buckarooo to roam around the countryside shooting people? I bet if Bucky showed up on your doorstep you would be the first person to call the cops. Isn't he an escaped convict? What is wrong with you? No, it sounds like they are all a bunch of thugs. If those people aid and abed a convict then they should go to jail. I would or anyone else that did it. I do not understand YOU upholding a person's behavior that has resulted in two state troopers maybe losing their lives. There is nothing that makes it right. They aren't acting unjustly towards his family. The idiots are breaking the law!!!

The NYSP supervisor says that the people in the area and on the Indian Reservations are not calling the cops.

The Sp's have intimidated everyone, scared them, threatened them, they don't dare to call them.

And they don't have to if they don't help a fugitive.

See no evil, Hear no evil, Speak no evil.

Stay out of it like they do in the cities...

Sorry officer, I didn't see anything. I was reading my newspaper.

The sp's are on their own. They scared everyone with their conduct.

Jane, two different issues...Bucky needs to be taken in-no question about it. Especially as of late, with the seriousness of the two shot troopers.

Gary had stated the state police are strong-arming Bucky's *family members* unjustly. Believe it or not, there are people related to Bucky that have not helped him, seen him, had any communication with since this frenzy began.

If you report something, the next thing you know you are being accused of helping him.

If you take to long to make the call, you are aiding him. They suspect you. You volunteer for the light and the three legged chair routine.

So no, the laws of justice have been suspended by the sp's.

We don't have to report a thing.

The NY SP wanted to scare people. They wanted to intimidate people. They showed everyone what they could do, we believe them. The law means nothing, we have vigilantism now.

They insist on the conspiracy theory that everyone is helping. Look at the posters here that believe that smear campaign.

People need to leave the fugitve manhunt to the NY professionals!

See no evil, speak no evil and hear no evil.

like everyone else I have found the hunt for bucky quite entertaining
from the mumbleing stumbling cops to the jerry springerish sideshow
of his freinds family and supporters. But this publicity seeking piece of
crap needs to be stopped. RALPH if you are in some nitwits trailer reading about how smart you and lets also suppose you want to live then I suggest
that you turn yourself in on live nationwide TV . Americas most wanted
is down there. do it or die .you will famous AND you will be with a bunch
of guys who think you are really cool. by the way some good lawyer will probably take your case and you could be out in a couple of years

Make that "three" state troopers. Bucky has allegedly shot three state troopers. The first shooting, they have witness's and the gun he used. The last two, they suspect it was him. The sniper shots came from around his Xgirlfriends property. As soon as the two Troopers were ambushed,(one almost bled to death) she jumped in her car with her daughter and left her property.

Vigilantism???? They're not trying to scare people, you idiot, they're investigating & following tips. Trying to find the low life. Yeah, you don't have to say anything to the police, but then don't call them when someone (like Bucky) robs your house.

Yeah, he's treated the NYSP family unjustly by shooting their father, and the men need several surgeries to save their lives, and 40 pints of blood.
They hurt his family, they're in jail, they get out, if he would have only came in. He put his own family on the line, he didn't care, and he got back at NYSP. They have families too, duh!

Really? Tell that to the medical doctors and school officials that fail to report child abuse. Don't report child porn and see what happens to you.

If you suspect terrorism activity in the planning stages, and don't report it, you can be charged. Google for the Title section.

Only a criminal fool would not report a dangerous fugitive on the run. More so, if you witness a crime, it is your CIVIC and MORAL duty to report the crime to the police. MOST American's base their lives on honesty and integrity. Ever heard of Good American citizenship? That is exactly why these people haboring Bucky are trash.

Your own anti-establishment feelings and paranoia about the police and government in general is dangerous to your community, you selfish moron.

They are crying they don't get tips, or "timely" tips.

I hope, sincerely hope one of you boot licken sp worshippers see's something, or Phillips steals from you. You can be treated like you deliberatly left things for him to steal. Didn't know that did ya. LMAO. It gets even better.....

They are now looking at people reporting "sightings" and giving tips as be part of the wild goose chase. Yep, false leads or tips are suspected. To lead them away from one area to another.

They will be running your plates, your phone number, address.. you thru the system and you better hope you don't have any unpaid tickets! Check your car registration, inspection, tire tread all that. If you have any history at all, you will be spending some time with them, and lots of talking.

NYSP Supervisor said the pressure was going to get worse than before on live television.

and from what I learned today, he's serious.

So rant on, cuz the boot lickers are no higher form of life to the sp's.

LMAO

We'll see how you like them after you get treated like family

You read this board and then come talk to me about moral or civic duty.

I've heard of all of what you mentioned. There is a mob mentality here, I'm not speaking to a civilized group here.

What is moral about smearing all of a family as helping a fugitive?

What is moral about using children and other cohersive measures to get people to do things without a lawyer.

Once you ask for your lawyer the questioning stops, period.

There are alot things to this issue, that go against moral and civic minds.

Residents, including family have been honest and law abiding. They are accused and treated guilty until they prove their innocence?

I'm sorry , the law I understand, the Constitution I understand doesn't agree with the desperate, unprofessional conduct experienced by family, residents and citizens at the hand NYSP.

There have been multitudes of letters published on the subject.

As for me being anti establishment, most sp' boot licking posters have no clue as to the law. They think a leo can just shoot to kill, thats it. As it turns out, thats not the way it is. No kidding.

The laws are not designed to be 'fair' they are designed to be 'just'. It's not a perfect system. Sometimes the guilty go free, innocent to jail, but it's better than any other system out there.

Leo's are not above the law. Even the president of the US doesn't have the right to suspend Constitutional law or rights during war. Clue... the NYSP doesn't either.

We are not guilty til proven innocent in a court of law, but the court of opinion is different. Those that come in here and talk shit that if you are a critic of law enforcement you are a Bucky supporter, talk out paper aholes.

Our country was designed to give power to the people and those that serve our communities, states, and country are accountable to public trust. Yes even the NYSP are sworn to uphold the public trust. You might even check and see what the DOJ says on community relations, public trust, policy and best practice. Cuz what we've had ain't it!

You picked a fine one to call anti establishment Shelly, among all the posters here.
