FYI: I have a friend on the Board at Southeast Works . I was told that Michelle Smith Residential Director was going to be terminated but The Executive Director Mr Tim Pfohl wanted to keep her. You people in residential were pretty close to getting your wish but Tim stepped in and saved the day for Michelle. I don't know if she'll make it next time.

At one time we had a great team of managers and nurses working together... Michele Smith had her friend Nicole Perry doing her dirty work, when she worked at all... Michelle had to have her hand in everything the the managers did, we even had to tell her we where taking a pee break... The managers where just babysitters who where controlled my Michelle Smith. we couldn't breath without her knowing... She needs to leave, now that Nicole Perry is gone Michelle needs to go to.... Lets start fresh and maybe some of the good managers will come back...

For the most part in residential at any agency it is sort of like babysitting there's no getting around it. As for managers if they were good they still would be there. Everyone who works in a residential setting gets burned out at some point. Some leave on there own others well you know what happens to them. Change is good for everyone new blood is a good thing. Southeast had a real good group of Nurses at one time I agree Maureen,Diana and Brenda they were Tops.

Managers can only take so much, even if there good! Michele Smith needs to stand behind her manages in good or bad... she only did this in good times, she let the managers take the fall for what ever want wrong...I agree about Maureen and Diana, the best!...

Yeah it's tough being a group home manager the on-call Staffing issues that arise on a regular basis. A good Supervisor will stand up for his or her staff that never was the case at Southeast Works. For one Managers should be paid hourly as you know they generally work over there 40hrs and should be given a raise not 2%. Give the people that are asked to work an extra shift a dollar or two more per hour as an incentive . People are motivated to work harder and longer for a supervisor they respect and one that has there back. All this falls back to the Residential Director to stand up and discuss all the above with the E.D. but I don't think that will happen .

As far as someone who should be rewarded for what they do in residential is Nicole B. the manager at West Payne she goes above and beyond. Nicole B is not good she is Outstanding at what she does.She puts in many hours above her 40 per week. If I were king she would get an immediate raise plus she would be paid hourly. Again that's where Michelle Smith needs to put herself out there Would she? Instantaneous respect Michelle when you look out for your good people.

the reason that the nurses are gone is because Maureen refused to be led by the nose by Michelle. You could tell Michelle was out to get her when she herself and her spies were going around asking staff if they liked the nurses-wgat do they say-etc. they knew there stuff and we hVw had nothing but problems since they left. I think we're on our 8th or 9th nurse. I ran into Maureen and Diana and they hugged me and were just as nice as ever.tgey were the best nurses and stood up for wgat they believed in and wgat was right. f Judy was still there they never would have left.

Sorry but Pam Hayes is responsible for the 3 Nurses abrupt departure. Maureen questioned her about something she did not want to answer so she let her go and a Diana and Brenda left soon thereafter. Maureen Offered to stay 30 days until Southeast could find a new nurse Pam Hayes said No and let her go that is what really happened. So this one does not fall on Michelle Smith. Blame those idiot Board members who hired Pam Hayes dumb asses.

Michelle is the most unpleasant person I come in contact with there. I cringe when she steps in the same room or hall. I can't even believe she is still here. Tim for god sakes get rid of her. And Megan to. What exactly does she do? She never pitches in for direct care. How is thAt fair? She's a coordinator but refuses to do direct care? Wake up!!

I think a lot of managers go above and beyond, u can add Stephanie to that list... her and Nichole always go well beyond ... SE needs to wake up before they leave too, both are very close to walking away... In my opinion Kathy B was the best... and they let her go in a blink of an eye...

Agreed Kathy B. Very good manager she resigned I believe. Stephanie also excellent / outstanding manager should be rewarded for her hard work and dedication hourly pay with a hourly increase. Stephanie is an Awesome Baker to boot!!!!!!!!

There is only what 10 group homes and so many problems. Who hires residential staff at Southeast Works? Unbelievable!! People sleeping on the job, smoking weed on the job Southeasts answer just transfer the pot smoker to other house problem solved. Talk about putting residents safety in jepardy. That's the Southeast way. What ever happened to the at will agency we don't like something you do your terminated. I guess it's too much trouble hiring new staff. As Tim W. at Como Park used to say this place is full of dopes . I couldn't agree more .

Speaking of Kathy I miss her!! She was approachable and great to talk to. Como would be a lot different if she was there. She was a leader. This one now dawn? Shows up to meetings wearing pajamas. How is this professional? No one says anything. she needs to be a residential trainer again. But that's what this company does they keep lazy people on board and get rid of the good staff. Its next to impossible to get canned there.

First off the person that was "unfounded" for smoking weed was wrongfully accused. Then the person who accused them went around bragging about it. So if this employee was guilty of what they were accused of the Justice Center would have taken care of it. Second employees should be more worried about doing what is right for their residents instead of falsely accusing other employees! Do we not have anything better to do? There are employees who sit on their phones while other co workers do everything. We should be working as a team, not trying to see who can big the biggest douche bag. With everything going on in this agency we need to pull together. Its obvious that our CEO and Director of Residential dont give a crap. Why fight amongst ourselves? Stop acting like this is high school and do your job. Peoples lives are in our hands and it is not their fault that the people we work for forgot why we are all here. The pay sucks, but I dont see those complaining going to CSDD or People Inc. We are here because of the people we serve and making a difference. Concentrate on that instead of being backstabbing vindictive lying pieces of crap.

I have a lot of love for Southeast Works, the participants, employees and families, I agree with some of the comments made here- Stephinie is an excellent baker- but readers keep in mind that a lot of the things posted here are not true. Please stop perpetuating negativity here, the agency has a chance now to make changes and become a better agency. I think all of our energy needs to be towards positive change, saying hurtful things about others is not helping anything- please bring any legitimate concerns to the appropriate people and end the negativity.
