Hi, if you know you were adopted and want background information, sign up with the STATE Information Registry for adoptees and parent.
Siblings can also sign up.

Many siblings and adoptee and parents are searching for each other.

Please come to www.nyadoptees.com for free assistance. We have volunteers to help.

If you know of anyone who is adopted, or a parent who relinquihed a child, let them know.

I am a member on nyadoptees.com and the search angels there are wonderful. There are hundreds of adoptees and birth family members registered, and you can search the database there. All help and resources there are free.

When you meet your birth parents know that they did not abandon you

It was not easy to give you up

Sending you to parents that were ready to raise a child was an act of sacrifice and love for you

Keeping your child born out of wedlock is a selfish act and rarely the best option for the child

Hi, you are assuming every child that is relinquished for adoption is from a single mom.
Thats not true.

Sometimes the state takes the child or children because one parent is abusive. They remove them from the home.

Hi, there are over 160 entries on our database of people looking.

Some start from 1929 to the 1990's. Some are parents searching. Some are siblings searching.

And many adoptees are searching. Please join our group if you have an adoption connection.
There are many volunteers to help members and teach them what they can do.

There is a state Registry, and others to be on and check at.

If you know of any adoptees or parents who might like to get assistance, please contact us at www.nyadoptee.com
Siblings and grandparents and friends are welcome.

Why do you say my comment is "trolling"?

I am 100% in support of adoption

When an unwed women gets knocked up there are four options:

1.Marry baby daddy- Sometimes the best option, but usually not

2.Abortion- BAD. Abortion is murder in the eyes of God and moral men

3.Single mother raises child- BAD. There is an 82% chance the child will grow up to be a convicted felon, collect welfare and breed more bastard children

4. Adoption- ALWAYS the best option

I am guessing you went though "Father Baker's? and your son was born at BVH

There was a time when a young unwed mother got pregnant, she went to "Father Baker's" for support instead of an abortion clinic or a welfare office

Your decision to give up you son was an act of love and not abandonment

Have you called Father Baker's for info? They may not give info to you, but they may give info to him to contact you

Best of luck to you

Hi, according to law , Father bakers is not allowed to give information to the other party. They can't give information without both parties signing up with the NY state registry and checking with them.

We stress that people sign up on a Public registry too, which is free and everyone can sign up on
www.registry.adoption.com

sincerely,
Joan

Searching for my son whom I gave birth to on October 21, 1968. I gave you up for adoption so you would have a good home and a proper upbringing. A baby needs 2 parents not one. I gave you up out of love and a desire that you have a better life growing up than I did. I loved you then and I love you now. You were born in Buffalo, NY.....for further information contact
