He displayed so many signs of desperately needing help. As a mother of two teenage sons, I cannot understand how neither parent made a decision to get him some help. So many lives ruined unnecessarily, including John's.

he was in my class at school. Smart kid, can't imagine he won't be ready or hasn't planned his release. Be prepared.

I'm actually related to him..shame in admitting..but it is an accident that will remain in my family history forever..thank you guys for your opinions as I respect them all..my opinion is that he will be imprisoned for the rest of his life..he obviously didn't understand the society we live in nowadays since he returned back to prison in a hasty fashion so no need for us to worry about people like him being on our streets.

Wow what a stupid theory you spew..this freak killed 4 people and should never be free until he leaves this earth the same way he deemed those 4 people had to leave it.
What idiot liberal hack judge doled out this sentence..Justice..John should be made to live next door to that Judge..and maybe then but probably not... judges might think about consequences to others before sentencing.
But then they the judges have 14 yrs of Government employment and beyond and retirement to enjoy while screwing with the public!
There's gonna be a lot of people that probably shouldn't be allowed out who will actually be released. The USA government, with their absolutely ridiculous sentencing guidelines from the 70s and 80s have gone from 500,000 in jail in the 60s to 2.2 million today,. If they continue on at this rate they will have to just continually build more prisons! You can thank your idiotic goverent for sentencing armed convenience store robbers to 400 years even though they didn't kill or hurt anyone physically. Drug dealers getting triple life sentences. Now there's ain't any room and all the citizens are paying billions upon billions to house these inmates. There's also no rehabilitation so upon release these prisoners just keep coming back, but they always have enough time to hurt more ppl!!!

I was at the Grace House with him in '06 (terrible place btw, guy who runs it is an utter scumbag) I;m old enough to remember the killings but at that point had forgotten the name of the guy. So one night I'm watching Jeopardy and he's sitting next to and be honestly ignorant of who and what he is ask "You ever talk to your parents, maybe they can help you out a bit..." Looking back it's miracle I didn't get shanked.
