Do you think that the same losers will sit down and get a job and volunteer to feed the elderly just because drugs are legal? Get real. Thanks.

Once a criminal always a criminal. Like Baby Daddy like Son.

Nothing to do with the bird man. Just that statistics prove that legalization does not eliminate problems

Alcohol....costs on the system far out weigh the taxation benefit
Cigarettes....ditto

Arguing that problems go away with legalization is lunacy. They would only get worse.
People that are hooked on drugs are not going to be productive suddenly because they are cheaper. Then there will be a higher number of junkies and even the sacred cow, gonja, is addictive.

Before drugs were illegal the same percentage of people were addicted to drugs than are addicted to drugs today
Legalize drugs won't make the problem go away but enforcing drug laws doesn't either.
Not sure where you get you statisticabilities, but when opium/heroin was legal there was a epidemic level of addictions. Now there are junkies, but far fewer in percent of the population terms.. This applies to other drugs too. Increase the cost and people can't afford them. Same thing works for booze and smokes. People quit smoking because it costs too much. Instead of buying imported vodka they swill mccormicks. Price impacts consumption. That's true regardless of the product or service.

By the way I don't care how many drug addicts there are I just want to stop innocent people and cops from catching a bullet
There will be far more motor vehicle fatalities and crippling injuries. It's a Pandora's box issue.

That depends on who you are talking about

Was it the consumer or the booze runner ?
