How appropriate to have Chris Coleman's picture added to this story. You can't make this stuff up.

I believe this dog may be second in size to a large grand dane based in Blaine, MN named Zeus. Zeus weighs an estimated 220 pounds.

Zeus makes my small Great Dane ( appr 85lbs) look like a frenh poodle.

I saw that, too funny. Boomer can only destroy a house, Coleman can destroy a whole city.

Good thing it's not a rooster... then I wouldn't be able to read about the seven-foot cock at work, since the filter would ban it.

Boomer you are adorable and I hope you win the worlds record! I would rather meet you in a dark alley any day over any of those ankle biters. I bet you are just one big baby!
Have a happy healthy life as unfortunateley the bigger the dog, the shorter the life....
May dog treats rain from heaven for you Mr. Boomer!

Is Zeus an English mastiff? They are the heaviest/stockiest breed of dog. My mastiff girl goes right around 200, and at the age of 5 is beginning to put on her middle-aged spread. She could easily eat off the kitchen counters without stretching (though she knows enough not to), but she's a little too short to drink from the sink. Before I thought to put two large collars together end-to-end for her, I had her wearing a ladies' leather belt with her ID tags attached because I couldn't find one big enough to go around her enormous neck. During deer hunting season we put a modified blaze orange vest (made for a large man) on her before she steps out the door.
