Has anyone had a chance to check out the buffalo grove bills lightweight mid-10 team? This team is incredible. Having been a spectator of the Bills for many years, this has got to be the most incredible team ever! They could probably beat most high school freshman teams or better. They have a great quarterback and two running backs who are lightning fast! Unreal!#2 and #25 are just monsters at running the ball.#25 just pounds away, sheds tackles and annhilates his opponents.#2 is just really fast! If you all want to see some real incredible youth football, check them out! Their next game is this sunday sept. 28th at 1:30 at emmerich park in buffalo grove!

Yes, 25 was very impressive. Ran the ball very well, blocked well, played great defense, he's truly an all around package. Their center does a really nice job too. Very solid. Snaps long and shotgun very well and never misses his blocking assignments. Cant wait until they get to high school, got to get my hands on them. Great job.

I was able to catch this teams game in Lake in the Hills on sunday, wow! They sure are incredible. They completely move the ball at will.#25 simply batters his way through defenders 8, 9, 10 yards at a time or more! A gifted athlete. If #2 breaks away hes lightning fast! These two kids are going places on the high school fields, i can tell you that. Maybe even college if they keep getting better, as they have! Way incredible. Go #25, keep rockin'!!!

That #25 keeps on rockin!!! he really pounded hard for three touchdowns last weekend!! This kid is going places on the football field..Unbelievable. The speedster #2 apparently was injured and #25, believe his name is Chad Mikosz, really stepped up and kicked some butt. Where is this kid going to go to high school? I have got to follow his career. Someday, we will all watch him on TV. He is everywhere on the field he should be. Offense and defense. This teams last game of the regular season is this sunday at stevenson high school, I think at 1pm. Check him and this awesome team out!!!

# 25 is a great running back and is always running down hill.#2 is fast and also a great back. But when you say Buffalo Grove Team I have to question that, 8 out of thier 18 players are not from BG.# 2 is from Lombard along with a few others from Prospect Heights and other communities I would call it a all star team hand picked. They should be good.# 2 Rudy is also RanK as #2 in the area for baseball. Buffalo Grove Team NOT. Joey Weber Playing by the rules?

Im glad you agree #25 is great. As far as where they live, this is a club sport. If the best want to play with the best, that is their prerogative. Greatness breeds greatness.

Sorry, I was just pointing out the fact that the BG team was stacked with other communities best players and should be good. according to the league rules(TCYFL) it is supose to be a communitie base league and THIER NOT. If other teams placed 8 or more players that were hand picked on their teams they would be great to. Maybe they should start thier own league. I'm guessing you are probably related to #25(Ohio to Illinois to watch a youth football game) and to take nothing away from him he would be a back that anyone would love to have. The playing field is not the same for every team. What happens to the 8-9 kids that live in Buffalo Grove that were cut to make an all star team. Just doesn't seem right or fair to them. Is # 25 from BG?

Youre right, Im from Ohio. No, not related to #25, just very impressed with him, and this team. I do know this organization and many on this team. The kids that play on this team are all, except for two, from the immediate surrounding communities that either dont have a youth football program in their own town, or the programs are not very strong. The goal of youth sports is to teach fundamentals at first, then as they grow to 7th and 8th grade, to prepare them for high school sports, and possibly beyond. Dont assume because they dont have Buffalo Grove addresses that they dont belong in this program. Look at a map book and see where they are actually from.

All but two are from BG area which two # 2 and which other are from Lombard last time I looked at a map, Lombard is real close to BG ? Mount Prospect and Prospect Heights maybe closer but they have programs they can join and maybe help them become better programs. All most 50% of BG team is not from BG and that a fact. I'm sorry you can't see my point, that one team that is stacked in a league of communities base teams should be great and not all that extraoridinary. If the Crystal Lake,Cary,LITH's and Libertyville got togeather they would be great to.

There is no one on this particular team from Mt Prospect or Prospect heights, so I dont know where youre getting your info from. But, thats ok. At the mid-10, or gold level, if you will, you want to assemble a competitive team, thats what this level is about. These are prep teams for high school ball. And, Libertyville is a very strong team and organization. The others have plenty of athletic and talented players. Perhaps, with the proper coaches and game plans, they could be as powerful a team as the bills have.

I believe, Delbert, that #25 is from Wheeling. They do not have a program there anymore. Wheeling is the next town over.

16 of the 18 kids on that team will attend Stevenson, Buffalo Grove or Wheeling HS. The program has always had kids from those three school districts. For over 40 years that has been its base of kids. Of the 14 Bills teams this year, EVERY team has kids from all three school districts, not just the lightweight team. The home field is on Lake Cook road which is the dividung line between the two High School districts of BG and Stevenson. The Wheeling school district dividing line is less than one quarter of a mile to the south (Arlington Club).
So all three High School ditricts are within a quarter mile of the field.

Libertyville has 7 kids who do not reside in thier town at the lightweight level and the best players are from North Chicago. They have always recruited nad had numerous kids from the Stevenson disrtict who live in Lincolnshire. This has been going on for decades!

Tri City draws from three distinct suburbs and feed 4 High Schools.(Batavia, ST Charles, Geneva).

Crystal Lake feeds from three school districts (South, Central and Prarie ridge) and has traditionally had numerous Jacbobs (LITH) kids.

Lake Zurich has drawn hunderds of kids from Long Grove who live in the Stevenson district and will attend SHS.

The Bills voluntarily moved up a division this year even though the helemt count should have put them in the same division as Wauconda.

If we are going to adhere to High School districts, great. Lake Zurich and libertyville would have to give us the SHS kids.....Thats been suggested by the Bills!

On a cold Saturday evening, hundreds witnessed the greatest youth football team in the state of Illinois win their second straight TCYFL championship in a game against Lake in the Hills. A game that was completely dominated by the BG Bills Lightweight mid-ten team. This team has truly captivated and embraced the concept of teamwork and comradery. The coaches, with a vision of dynasty, guided these fine young men on the grid-iron battlefield into an historic event. SuperBowl champions, and hopefully soon to be National champions, again, the Bills lightweights are on a roll. Led by quarterback Justin Weber the Bills defeated LITH 26-0 in a battle royale! Tailback Romagnano performed like a mad man. Fullback Mikosz pounded his opponents with a frenzy. Linebacker Peters was on fire. Defensive ends Stawinski and Gonzalez dominated all night long. Kicker Kaplan had the uprights in his laser sights. This team is truly THE most unbelievable youth football team ever! For those of us fortunate enough to witness this team and be a part of it over the last two seasons, we are truly lucky. It is not often that such a dominant and cohesive team is ever assembled, such as this one. BG Bills Lightweights, we are truly amazed and proud of you all!!!! Good luck in Daytona and lets bring home yet one more championship!!!

All of us parents are truly proud of every single one of these young men and coaches. Back to back league champs, and we all pray back to back national champs, you all have given us, and yourselves, something to be so very proud of these last two years! Best of luck to all you, players and coaches, thanksgiving week in Daytona! Bring home the gold!!!
