OMG is this normal for roomie behavior?? This is my first roomie, anyway, the other night, he had his gf over. Instead of using his bedroom downstairs, he pulled out the couch bed and had sex with her right there!! My room is ten feet away! I was totally feeling disrespected, and wonder...is it normal for a roomie to have sex in the common areas?

Heres our ages, he is way too old for this behavior. He is 30, his gf is 19, and I am 32.

Oh, and the other day he left a condom out on the dryer.

I dont know how to bring up this subject either, but I feel really uncomfortable with him doing this in the common area, on the couch we both use at that.

Advice?

This is definitely NOT normal. If he lived alone, I would say just about anything goes, go for it. He apparently has no respect for his gf, you or himself. He obviously cannot care anything for the girl. I hope she did not know he shared an apartment/home?

He is a little too old to be acting like a "19 year old" on his first sexual experinece. Unless this was his first, and he could not control himself.

I would definitely have to say something, if you feel too uncomfortable addressing him face to face, give him a call when you both are away from each other and tell him the situation has been bothering, you need to talk. Or, leave a note saying you both need to discuss what happen the other night, you felt uncomfortable, then tell him you would like for it not to be repeated IN YOUR LIVING ROOM!
If people don't say things that need to be said, situations get out of control and escalate.
There is no sense in being nasty and disrespectful to someone you are sharing a home with.
There are too many "germs" going around to leave "things" laying around.
He is just plain nasty! You may not want to tell him that, althought he probably already knows.

I dont. I think you need to grab a camcorder and make it a Kodak moment! And why not join in? You might actually unloosen that uptight prudish attitude and enjoy life instead of complaining about someone else who already is!

your roomate is inconsiderate, disrespectful and nasty. Im all about being freaky but when you are disrespecting others that live in the same home, then its bad.

Ok, pay attention....

House specs:(hypothetically)
Built: 1970
Sq Ft: 1100
Walls: No insulation

Translation: Getting freaky in a house that is anything remotely close to the details listed above means you would be heard no matter where you're at. You might as well do it in the living room and the owner of the house should KNOW THIS BEFORE BRINGING IN A ROOMMATE!!!!

Boogie Boy (aka Ward, Geek)- You need a lesson in rationalizing logic, boy......and I do mean, little boy.

Daily Horoscope for December 21

Libra

You've been quite a gadabout in recent weeks, but as the Sun enters Capricorn at the Solstice, you start to yearn for the comforts of home. You might even be tempted to cancel some forthcoming social events, so you can flop on your sofa and catch your breath. Sentimental thoughts could steal over you in coming weeks, making you think about some of the people you used to know and love.
