i agree chapman is very rude, try to get anything done in this town is bad also,hard to find the right person for the job that needs to be done.only people that get anything done is friends of chapmans. so i guess you have to kiss ass to get things done. water is no good and we pay lots of money for it more then any other town.ive payed taxes in this town for yrs and never got anything in return for it.

WOW!!! The water bills are the highest in the state of Illinois.( I checked) Why,do we pay so much for water that you can't drink, or cook with, or give your animals unless you want a dog that glows in the dark. Now it seems that people can't even hang onto the paperwork to rip us off with. Maybe the newest scam wasn't worked out yet!!! Check with the dump site outside of town, new germs maybe coming to you by way of old pipes. Don't worry about the houses, worry about your children's health!!!!

tim was the reason the water bills are so high .to busy partying and schmoozing in Springfield.There was a very good reason why he lost the election.The town has went to shit the last ten years.I graduated from Neponset and I lived in town four years.I hated it.Chapman is a joke for water commissioner.He was more concerned with working in Annawan on the ethanol plant.The sewer systems a joke.Some lines are 13 feet deep.The mentality in Neponset is the good 'ol boys.Ignorance is truly bliss . The problem is going to be there for awhile.

yeah,and there never was a real plan on getting it laid out on the town.The day they were going to cut my drop in the guys asked if I wanted to cut in in front of the house or across the back.No real engineering.I also know that Neponset was asked by someone from Sheffield to to do sewer systems together which would have made the water bills half what they are now.But that did'nt get any traction because that was the Tim era. Pretty hard to lose an election if nobody else runs.
