Hey, it's been too long since we've talked. we have a lot to catch up on, I know you had to move on with your life, I guess I just wasn't ready to have you leave my Aunt Marge, you know she was like my second Mom, just like all my Aunts were. At any rate, I think I'm ready now, are you? I know you have moved on, you were ready much sooner than we were, but that is just the way it is. I just want you to know that we are ready to re-connect, there is me, Carol, Bernie, and my two wonderful boys, Paul and Mike, both who are in the Young Marines. I wish you could only see them and talk with them, life is too short.

Both boys are in the Young Marines, like I told you. You would be so proud of them, I know Aunt Marge would be, and I know Uncle Leo has put the ibisaki on me, for the kids, Mike already has a "girlfriend", although i forbid him, it doesn't do any good, you know that. Paulie could care less about girls, he has motor oil in his veins, like his Dad. That's o.k. He says he's never going to get married, 20 bucks says he's the first one down the aisle with a gun pointed at the back of his head! Mike has a girl that he's interested in and that is interested in him, BUT, he has made it known that his one and only love is becoming a Marine fighter pilot. He went away this summer to leadership school and flew in a Chinook copter, he's hooked, big time. I got him one lesson on a private jet for his 13th birthday, he, again is hell bent and determined to go to a military college and enter the Marine corps as an officer. Please, if you read this, contact me, if not for myself or for you, than do it for the boys, they don't have any other living uncles, and you are the GodFather. Please!

I will never forget her, and I have named one of our 6 dogs after her.(Yes I know, 6 dogs are 4 dogs over the limit, but I don't damn well care, they aer well behaved and they don't bother anyone, it's not the first time I've had the police called on me for this, won't be the last I'm sure. Please, either you or your wife, contact me, befote it's to late, to late for you, to late for my boys. They ask about you often, even they don't remember much, they still ask. Doesnt' that mean anything to you? If you don't do it for myself and Bernie, please, I ask you, do it for the boys.

Hey, for some reason, I can't sleep (that's nothing new for me since I've had multiple heart attacks, yep, it's true, don't know how many, Beaumont didn't know either, other than it was more than two, and seeing as how I had the pain in my chest for more than 9 days, they are figuring more than 2, less than 20 heart attacks, comforting, isn't it?) I just want you to know that we are really ready, ready to make ammends, ready to heal, ready to have the "I'm sorry's said", ready to get on with life.

I know you know that Aunt Irene has passed away, so has Uncle Leo, I think you went to their funerals. My Mom also passed away, a year ago last February. I miss her so much, even though we had our issues, I do miss her, she was the last of the Elias family of girls that I could talk to. Please, contact me, if not for me or yourself, than please, do it for my boys. They need to conect with someone whom can confirm the past for them. You do know that Aunt Jo was really sick? I did talk with her about a month ago, I want to take the boys over there so we can talk and she can see them. Geez, how I miss the old times, remember Swartz Creek and Uncle Leo, what a hoot!

Remember Uncle Leo shoveling the stuff from the gutter on the pole barn down on your face, wait a minute, that was you doing the shoveling down on Uncle Leo, I remember now how upset he was "LOL" Not really, just another great memory!
