I see perriello isn't running any ads professing his undying support for obamacare, stimulous fiasco or cap and tax. Just seems like yesterday he was sending e-mails telling me just how great these failed programs were. Could he be he's onto something here? His vote for a pat on the head from mistress pelosi....how touching!

He'll fight against Polose and stand for the people of the 5th. Perriello had his chance and didn't have back bone enough to stand for the majority so now the majority will send him packing.

How come no one ever mentions that fact that "Toxic Tom" has had all his money cut off from the DNC? Pelosi & Friends used him like a condom to get their liberal agenda through. Now is is just thrown away into the democratic toilet.

It will be nice to see "Mr. Listening" standing in the unemployment line in January.

I agree. It will be nice to see him standing in the same unemployment line he has helped create. Tommy boy is just one of many "lost causes" the dnc has cast adrift. So much for class warfare huh? Kind of like an animal eating their young to provide for the rest of the litter.

I love the latest Perriello ad about a 25 year military veteran who "lost my factory job" in Danville and had to rely on unemployment benefits "to feed my family and keep a roof over our heads". I'm calling BS on this one. First of all, if the guy is a 25 year military vet, then he gets a fairly substantial pension along with medical benefits. The Current Retirement Plan pay scale multiplies the basic monthly pay of the soldier by a percentage determined by 2.5 times their years of active duty. So, the math for an Army member with a base monthly pay of $3,000 and 25 years of active duty works out as follows:
25 years x 2.5 = 62.5 percent (multiplier).
$3,000 (base pay) x 62.5 percent =$1,875 per month of retirement wages. The only thing he needs to do is walk down to the mailbox to get his check. Instead, he's making himself out to be a poor 'ol boy who lost his factory job. Hey Tom, some of us DO pay attention to your ads, and actually think a little about the content. We're NOT sending you back in November.

Agreed in fact some of his ads are downright offensive. People vote your choice but don't try to pull our legs and think we are dumb.

Tom Perriello is an excellent Representative. He listens to the people more than any politician I’ve ever known in my 52 years. He really knows his stuff too. It would be a great lost to the District and Virginia, if we only had him for two years. A vote for Perriello, is a vote for Virginia.

Deb - what planet are you from. Myself and others have been to his office to show our concern and "facts & figures" on (Cap & Trade), illegal aliens, Bank Reform, and other issues. At every occasion, he has blown us off. "Toxic Tom" has voted with Witch Pelosi on every major vote; he (and his supporters) should move to Kalifornia so you can all participate in the Folsom Street Fair.

Tom Periello was put into office to be a YES man for Barack Obama and he fulfilled his obligation, now it time to go back where he came from. He listens to no one in his district, only the three stooges (Obama, Pelosi and Reed)!!!

I think that is a desperate act on Tom's part to pretend that Hurt has cast all these votes, which by the way was under a Democratic Governor for the last eight of ten years.

Whether you know it or not, gridlock good. It prevents those in Washington from spending even MORE of my and your money. That old "it took us 8 years to get into this mess" is such a tired line. During the Bush years, we basked very low unemployment. In this area, we even had shortages of people as companies could find ENOUGH qualified workers. Not today, and certainly not under Obama's watch. Where's those shovel ready jobs? There ARE and never were any. What happened to that promise that unemployment wouldn't go over 8%? It went over 10%!! It's still in the high 9's right now, and is actually over 10% when you count those who have simply given up looking. No government in history has ever taxed themselves into prosperity. The only way to become prosperous is to get the government off our backs.

Uh, Can you tell us, if you can, what votes tommy boy cast that were good for the 5th? He voted with pelosi's agenda more than 90% of the time and against the majority of his constituents. He seemed proud of those votes until now. Why all of a sudden is he RUNNING away from his record. Tommy will be sent packing back to "snootyville" in UVA LAND. That's where he belongs, along with the rest of the 10 cent millionaires.

"Toxic Tom" Perriello is short. With being short there comes a lot of baggage. Just say NO to short politicians.
