Checking the map of your 2 locations, I see that you are much closer to your friend than I am. I'm in Fredericksburg. I wish I could help you. How are =>YOU<= doing down there? Damage? We all have been praying for you and all of those involved with this mess. Sit tight... you'll hear from your friend soon :) God Bless

There were reports of 7 people dead earlier today, there are still several people missing....the report then changed to only 4 confirmed dead. We won't know the total until everybody that is missing is accounted for or found...He may very well be telling the truth....Anyway, 1 life lost is 1 too many....I sure hope "hhaha" is just your screen name, because I see absolutely no humor in this situation.
There were many truckers killed in Alabama also....and these truckers truck all over the country...So there could be many more than 6 killed yesterday...look at the pictures...all the destruction....trucks turned over and hurled through the air.....

So sorry to hear of the loss of life and distruction. My heart aches for the community. I'm from out of town, but I lived in the area years ago. There doesn't seem to be much news coverage in that area compared to the southern states, so if anyone can point me to a news source I'd really appreciate the help. The Weather Channel has a lot of photos and videos, but like I said, it's mostly where there was more damage and loss of life. If anyone has taken photos and wouldn't mind sharing them, please email me at kyhaze2@aol.com

We've been working there all day and most of last night...the reports of only 4 people being killed are false. The last count is up to 52 for the area.

I just heard from my friend,Travis. Her and her family are fine. They have damage to their home, but all are fine.Thanking God for His mercies.Lets-pray,I am so sorry to hear about your family. Will keep all of you in my prayers.Warrier,we were very blessed in our area.We have three adult children and our daughter in the Chattanooga area had to be evacuated along with her five year old due to tornados while her husband was at work. Our son and his family rode out the storm in their basement...they also have two young children. Our youngest son and his wife spent the night under their home in a crawl space.Damage...no power, but alive and well.We are most thankful.

I agree totally, Percy. "hhaha", you respond with such stupidity! In the wake of this type of devastation don't you think "hhaha" (Mispelled, incidently - not surprised...) would/should be thinking something more like "I am happy to say there has been confirmation at this point of only four victims"???(Who are you to "confirm" anything???) Even today there have been several conflicting numbers reported that are inconsistent even with Judge "hhaha"'s expert opinion!!! Many who insist on expounding on this site really need something to do with their time, and frankly they errode their credibility by making comments in general- very sad.

The initial report of deaths in Virginia was at 8. However there were only 5 deaths confirmed. This from WTOP:

"Officials originally reported that eight people had died, including seven in Washington County. But Southard said Thursday afternoon that communication problems had led emergency officials to miscount."

http://www.wtop.com/...

This is the worst outbreak since April of 1974 and they are also saying that if 50-60 of the reports around Tennessee are married up, that it could equate to a new Tri-State Tornado (the last one of those on record was 1925).

May God look over all those who were drastically effected by this anomaly of nature...

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Leo

This is a great day for fixing things that have gone wrong. If there have been ructions in your relationship with a certain person this is when you can sort things out and get them back on track. If an appliance or gadget is going on the blink, this is your cue to either get it mended or chuck it out and replace it. You may also find time to tidy up your immediate surroundings or take all those bottles and papers to your nearest recycling center. How virtuous you'll feel when it's all done!
