My sincerest condolences go out to the storm victims. It is a natural, God made tragedy.
Yet, so too many, at the hands of a Man made tragedy, the automobile operator accidents, happen every day all day long, fairfax city, county, state, country wide. World wide, for that matter.
Too many deaths. Too many serious injury's. Loved ones getting crippled, maimed, dismembered for life. Becoming dependant on state aid, public assistance. The overall damage goes on and on, endlessly. Getting worse and worse every day. And who cares? The Big Money Power's that be, most. Keeping it just unsafe enough to keep the hideous horror show going. The way the entire traffic operation is built and ran. Police officer's not doing what they are supposed to be doing, like pulling over motorized vehicle operators driving aggressively. Congested conditions forever getting worse. For who? The rich? And what about all this death and disability it generates? With the huge amounts of profit being made? So much money the Big Money Power's have plenty to influence our governments enough to keep it all churning. So, a God made Storm rolls through and kills and hurts people. A thing no one can do anything about, for now. People make a big deal like this thread, showing their wonderfull human compassion concerning a storm. Yet nothing is being said or done to change a changeable thing like all the death, mayhem that this Man Made condition, causes. The Motorized Vehicle Operator Accidents!

Golleee gee wilickers! Never thought of it like that, josh. Makes some reality check real common sense. With an average of 40,000 + Plus dead, yearly. Hundreds of thousands being seriously injured, crippled, maimed, dismembered each year. In this country, alone. Most more than likely being someones loved ones. And who cares? And Joshua is oh so very right about this! A God Made Storm rolls thru, killing, injurying a few people, and a big deal is made of it on the news and a thread like this one? When is a real big deal going to be said about the motorized vehicle operator horror show going on daily on thehighways and byways in this country? And Fairfax, Va is one of the worst scenarios I seen traveling worldwide for many years seeing traffic conditions everywhere. With the death and injury toll rising every minute of every hour, day, week, year. Year after year. And what is our government doing about it? And it is very capable of being changed from what it is to something much safer for us all. In many ways. All that horrific bloody gore and you say what is the excuse to not make it safer? Design the roads better. Wider. Keep the greedy development down to a low roar and the roads built better and wider first. Get the local police, sherriff's offices more focused on pulling over these aggressive, bully drivers. The very most likely ones that are intoxicated on something making them a very potential, serious endangerment to the rest. This IS a changeable, man made problem, and it is causing a worse problem than any God made storm. Worse death/injured toll than terrorism. And you say what? There is no excuse. Change it! You, man, made it dangerous this way. Change it for the safety matter of us all!
