This guy is a total dirt bag who deserves way more than 30 months! Anyone who threatens his own kid with a gun is a crazy psycho who needs to be locked up for good before he kills someone! Daniel Molina's previous conviction of aggravated assault on a police officer was when he tried to set a cop on fire! Why wasn't that attempted murder?! This disgusting piece of crap needs to be in prison for the rest of his life, not just 30 months!

Just who does this punk know in the legal system. Under nm case look up he has at least 6 speeding tickets where the cop didn't show up for the trial in both Demming and Grant county. Something is definalty wrong with how this guy is being treated.

This is all part of the Hug a Thug judges that are in New Mexico, The career criminals get away with everything. I am sick and tired of the Hug a Thug judges, GAL's,DA's and all public officials that don't do their jobs according to law.

hey dont be so negative, what you all fail to mention is my initial charges were 24 years ago, i was young, ive come a long way since then. aside from that all the charges that that triggered the felon in possession of a firearm were dropped by the state of new mexico, nothing nada came of that case. lack of evidence. under new mexico state law i could legally keep my firearm. nmas 30-17-16 and a federal judge said so too, however its alledged that under federal law i cant own or posess a firearm. where state law meets federal law is not clear so the courts will make the ruling soon. keep you posted. i legally posessed my guns just cause i fought with my family and law enforcement uses the opportunity to say i threatend my son is simply exxagerated, typical government out of control. i will clear my name. DANIEL MOLINA.
