Lake O boaters delight in deluge

Despite the arduous chore of clearing debris, many around Lake Okeechobee celebrated Tropical Storm Fay's gift of rainwater Wednesday.

Well we now have over 14ft in our wonderful lake. The proof is now in the pudding. Will they lower or maintain navigable water levels.
If they drop it we have as I suspect being lied to.
We have the potential of having one of the greatest fishing seasons ever.
I beg those please keep the levels up. Let us regain some of the economic loses we have incurred in the past few years. Please let us keep our lake. Thank you

I hope they keep the water levels up, I hated plowing muck and sand with the prop last year while trying to fish the Big "O" !
