Florida man uses weight as a murder defense

A man accused of running up and down a flight of stairs to kill a former son-in-law is offering a novel defense: At 5 feet 8 and 285 pounds, he was just too fat to have pulled it off.

Your knees are probably bad because of the weight. Sounds like this guy may be saying the same thing you are. You're assuming at 5'8"285 lbs his knees are in great shape?

Nope. The knees are bad because of sports injuries (right- soccer; left - basketball) that happened in my late teens and early 20's.

Back in 2003 but doesn't say he ever lived in Florida. He doesn't live in Florida now and the crime didn't take place in Florida and the trial isn't in Florida.
