After reading the comments all I can say is "WOW"! The hate, the sarcasm, its not called for people. The reasons for surveillance cameras is to catch the thieves and they will eventually. Who cares what race they are?

I am a new retail business owner and before the store opens, I am actually installing a film on my windows that makes it very very difficult fo such smash and grab jobs. I wish more people knew about this stuff. I think it will let me rest a little easier! I also hope they catch these guys and they are punished properly for these crimes!

One way for a store owner to at least delay the theft is instead of hanging the cloths on a rack with all the hangers facing the same way, turn every other hanger around the other way, that way one can't just grab a handful of items & run. With the hangers staggered, it would delay the theft. Hope this tip gets passed along.
