BARNEYII wrote: <quoted text> RYAN: Said Obama misled people in Ryan's hometown of Janesville, Wis., by making them think a General Motors plant there threatened with closure could be saved. "A lot of guys I went to high school with worked at that GM plant. Right there at that plant, candidate Obama said:'I believe that if our government is there to support you ... this plant will be here for another hundred years.' That's what he said in 2008. Well, as it turned out, that plant didn't last another year." THE FACTS: The plant halted production in December 2008, weeks before Obama took office and well before he enacted a more robust auto industry bailout that rescued GM and Chrysler and allowed the majority of their plants — though not the Janesville facility — to stay in operation. Ryan himself voted for an auto bailout under President George W. Bush that was designed to help GM, but he was a vocal critic of the one pushed through by Obama that has been widely credited with revitalizing both GM and Chrysler. ___ Obama said it The plant closed What's your point? Nothing in your quote of Ryan says it was Obama's fault it closed. The facts, by your own admission are as Ryan stated them. Obama did go to that town, he did say what he said, and the plant closed by the end of the year. Seriouslly man, you try to spin something Obama said into that he meant something else, and now you try to put an accusation, apparently through implied meaning, into something that Ryan said even though nothing he said backs that up. The facts are precisely what he stated. You're sad, not to mention completely ignorant.

Ah yes, Dirty Harry Callahan. His years in law enforcement, fluency in Russian, skills as an aviatar and cattleman, and political experience as the mayor of one of Earth's wealthiest communities will no doubt put the entire convention and the Neocon direction for this country into perspective. The problems he faced in administrating Carmel, CA are an excellent model for Republican change to this country. I can't wait to see him pump up the base. I hear he will end his speech with a discussion of Ford Torino design elements and top that off by making his day with several members of the audience.

The point my little misguided and ignorant submissive, is that Ryan's focus on this was to imply that Obama was responsible for shutting down the plant. It is not only misleading but tantamount to an outright lie. The fact that you have to pretend to be so brusque about it is a clue to how low you can be made to go in order to spin your false view of things. Barney has been straight and not spun a thing. The best you have been able to do is a limp fisted assault on him rather than the issue he raises. You have spent to many hours alone, spinning yourself. You don't know what is real. You are just misspent anger and frustration. I will fix that my little submissive. I will fix that.

I find it interesting that Republicans claim Obama is such a bad leader, yet they have to make misleading statements to reenforce that because they haven't any real evidence to provide. Your unworthy submissive has been left with nothing to address Ryan's lie of ommission, but to attack you. He can't find any real defense for this, so he acts like the small child that he secretly is and throws a tantrum. Don't be too hard on the child. It needs firm guidance and reassurance or it is lost. Smithville must be a dark and angry place.

It has been a pleasure to converse with you all. I must be going now. I have some travelling to do. I will miss my little submissives from Ozark and Smithville, but I see they have a number of dominants that will keep them in line. Perhaps I will get a chance to visit here again after VoMitt Romney concedes and Obama proceeds.

We'll look forward to seeing you blubbering and sobbing into your cry towel when Obama gets clobbered on November 6th. Little Johnny when asked what he wants to be when he grows up under a Republican President: I want to be successful. I want to build a business and make lots of money. Little Johnny when asked the same question under Obama: I want to live off of Welfare all my life. I want to live in my parents' basement while I look up at pictures of our wonderful Messiah, Obama. Which would you prefer Little Johnny do?

He (she?) can't answer because Obama has no plans. That's all it is, not his (her?) BS excuses and pathetic attempts at insults. Why do Liberals support Obama? They can relate. Obama is clueless about how to fix the problems we face and they are clueless when it comes to being able to tell us one single thing Obama plans to do. Useful idiots following a useless Idiot of a President. Well as far as idiots go - you seem to take the prize today! What's with this (he/she) business? I clearly stated I'm a mother, grandmother & great grandmother. Have you ever heard of a MAN being any of those things? Yes, I'm most definately a WOMAN - and I have been for almost 70 years! Look, I've been following politics probably from before you were a gleam in your daddy's eye. So I've got a whole lot of first-hand knowledge of the difference between the Democrat & Republican party & the consequences of their policies) to draw upon. I DON'T NEED ANY DEMOCRATIC PROPAGANDA OR REPUBLICAN PROPAGANDA TO TELL ME HOW TO THINK. I HAVE A BRAIN AND I USE IT!!! And yes, Obama has the right policies to get this country back on its feet. Romney's policies of tax cuts for the rich, deregulation & expanding our defense budget will be destroy this country. If (heaven forbid) Romney is elected, it won't be 6 months before we are engaged in another major war. Heck, in a couple of years or so, Romney will probably have us in 2 or 3 wars! And this country will be right back on the treadmill which got us in this financial mess in the first place...

1961 Alumni ROLLA MO wrote: <quoted text> Boy, it sounds like ole' Ryan thinks HE'S the one who's running for president! Look, you can't win the presidency with a campaign built on a foundation of LIES like Romney & Ryan are trying to do. The American people are not stupid - and the Romney/Ryan dog & pony show will soon be exposed for exactly what they are - a couple of desperate out-of-touch con men!!! That 20 something should go out & buy brand new Obama posters - because Obama will be their only chance for hope & change in the next few years. George Bush II is the reason that 20 year old is still having to live with his parents! In the last couple of years of the Bush II presidencey over 8 million people lost their jobs. jobs lost over the first year of Obama's presidency was also due to the reckless policies of the Bush II administration. After the first year of Obama's presidency - we have had job growth every month. We have not has as big a growth as we would like - but that can be attributed to the obstructionist Repubican led Congress... Yes, George Bush II destroyed our economy & brought us to the brink of another great depression. Obama's first couple of years was spent trying to hold our financial & auto industries together so that our county could just stay afloat and not fall altogether. The next (almost 4 years) Obama spent trying to deal with the most disfunctional Republican led Congress in the history of our country. Our Republican Congress' sole purpose is to make Obama a one term president (to hell with the economic woes of this country). Every Republican Congressman has also pledged their allegience to Grover Norquist instead of pledging their allegience to benefit the people of this country. Republican Congress are all sworn never to raise taxes no matter what perils this nation faces. Does it really sound like if Romney/Ryan are elected that 20 something will ever be able to have a job and make enough money to ever have a place of his own??? You say "American people are not stupid". Evidently, there are still some that are. We're not talking about things in the past. We're talking about NOW! I thought Ryan's speech was out of the park! These people want to make a difference, which Obama has failed to do. You've got to know that! Obama may be good at something......but, not President!!!! I have been proud of all the people that have given speeches. I hope the women of this country wake up, too. What lies were you talking about? I expect a good speech from Romney tonight, too. CHEERS!
