The Bobcat bar (old Cinema) is fore sure. I've heard some strange sounds in there at night when it was closed. Everyone that has ran the place or worked there has stories to tell.

Nothing haunting about valley green....but, Cambridge Heights is haunted, many have told me their ghost and creepy stories. I Did live there at one time, for about 2 years and i thought it was haunted. Always feels like someone is watching you, following u to every room. Faint whispers, lights turning off for no reason. Many many photos of strange light's, orbs, and the baby would laugh and stare at nothing. True story, and it goes, back in the mid 80's, there was a Huge cemetery through there, at the time, the state wanted to build a highway from buckhannon to elkins, traffic was building up on the old back way. Problem was, there were many obstacles in the path to their plan, their was the Cemetery which stretched from behind where Dollar Tree is to about almost Mortan ave exit. And their was a couple baseball fields there too, but things needed to be clear for 33 to be built. So, they relocated the cemetery, dozed over fields. When they relocated the cemetery, they left many stones behind, some you see by the trade school behind dollar tree, some behind Cambridge heights, many were never moved because stones got pushed over and did not get moved. Sad thing is many of the bodies that did get moved were put in with other bodies because they were rushed for deadline..they Dug them up inna hurry, some got correct graves, some didnt, many got thrown into one. Cambridge heights and 33 are built directly over top all this. Which could explain the 100's of accidents through there. My uncle worked with the crew that had to move the graveyard, and he was a construction worker for the company to build 33, told me all about it.

I heard mcdermott cemetery is very haughted! I know a guy that lived down by it. He said after dark he would hear a lady screaming like she was in pain! He also said there was always a black cat that stayed in there at night time. I didnt belive him so i was out riding 4 wheelers late one night we stopped right before u get on the rd. I told my friends the stories that my friend had told me. So we decided to check it out for ourself. No joke that place is creepy as hell old graves mostly from the 1800s. I dont think anyone has been buried in there for almost 60 years or more. We went in the graveyard we had grass up to our knees took some photos got crazy pics of somelady that had skeletal face no joke she looked as if she was from the 1800s! And then a black cat come flying out of nowhere we all took off running. That place is haughted it needs to be checked out!!! It doesnt look to bad in the daytime but at night u just get a bad feeling there!!! If anyone knows where the mt nebo rd is u come down that rd and turn onto the mcdermott ridge road. If anyone is out that way at night it is def worth checking out!

Cool story Johnny! U know i have always wondered coming through by the trade school why thoes few graves off to the side where there. Looked like a weird place to bury someone. I always look at it as i drive down that way. Always stuck out to me for some reason! Very weird! I do belive ur story!!! Theres alot of sence to it.

I was only saying from my personal experience, i haven't noticed anything...but some minor things, like odd sounds, weird feelings of being watched. But....i Was just thinking, i did get a lot of weird activity going on awhile back, but it wasn't from being in this place, it was a toy that came from a family member that passed away, her kids had this toy...well It was given to my child, and every since that, i would walk past the kids room and the toy would go off, making noises, it was a noise making toy. I have a EMF reader, used it on the toy, and it spiked every time. And it made them not want to sleep in the room, always cold in there. Just creepy. The toy just set itself off whenever you walked by, no one ever touched it. So i had enough, threw the damn thing in the dumpster, never had a problem again. But, other than that, never experienced anything. Now i heard many stories, a lot od people died here, many took their own lives.

Johnny, do you know what the old cemetery was called? Just curious, I've wondered whose graves those were by the trade school.

I know some people that have seen some strange things at Cambridge Heights...

I don't deal well with living amongst a bunch of strangers, but I always felt like someone was watching me, there. Creepy stuff.

when they moved the cemetery, they had to get permission from members of the deceased to move them, the ones that are on Morton avenue the family members did not want them moved. So that is why those remain there.
