would like to meet Joe I think its neat he had his son to come here to play football.
That's funny - his son came here to play football cause he couldn't play anywhere else. He was a 6th yr. senior and wanted to play quarterback, so daddy made it happen. Did you notice the school record this year though? Don't think he inherited daddy's skills.

I like Joe And Nate they are both very sweet men. Nate is Shy at first then he becomes this regular kid talking normal stuff. Joe is very pleasant always smiles . I didn't know who he was when I first met him. We chatted and I treated him like anyone else. Him and Nate laughed. And you know what I was impressed they didn't act like Celebes!!!! I am going to miss seeing Nate...

I've waited on him at my job and he was very polite. I'm a big sports fan and knew right away who he was, but I also realize that the most important thing to many people is privacy and I just treated him as if he were any other customer.
He needed help finding an accessory and was polite in asking me to do so and then thanked me when teh transaction was complete. When I walked around the counter to give him his bag he smiled, shook my hand, called me by name, and thanked me.
Long story short, don't bring up the fame unless he does. Montana doesn't owe you anything and has probably been burned by attention-seekers in the past so now has built a wall around himself to protect himself from possibly ending up in another similar situation. He's a human being. He won some Super Bowls, sure, but one time I got the high score on a pinball machine in Morgantown that had been there for a LONG time. Big deal.

Haha. I beat your score as soon as you left. Stay out of MoTown. I am the Pinball Wizard there.

I'm sorry but I have to agree about Joe Montana being rude to fans. It is a shock but I have 2 people that this happened to at the same 49er home game.
My girl friend was in line in the nice area for drinks (upper box level bar). She saw that Joe was in line ahead of her - 3 people ahead of her. She walked up and very nicely asked if she could get a picture with him. He said, quite loudly, NO! No pictures. My friend said oh, ok and went back in line.
Unbeknownst to my friend the man behind her must have snapped a picture because all of a sudden Joe comes back and starts berating my friend - loudly.. "I told you NOT to take my picture! what is wrong with you people.. I said NO!" My friend said, "I DID NOT take you picture sir" I did not"
He walked away with his drinks.. My friend was now the next person in line and here comes Montana who walks back to the bar and goes straight to her and starts yelling again about her taking a picture.. She said.. " Sir please stop this.. I did not take your picture!"
He says "You people...and still yells..
He walks away and the man behind my friend said to her.. sorry but I took a picture.
I asked my friend why didn't the guy behind you step up and say.." hey sorry it was me".
She says he was too afraid while Joe Montana was yelling at her.
On the same day, another friend said Joe was talking to Larry Bauer and 2 little 8 year old girls were waiting to talk to Joe and they did not interrupt them.. when Larry Bauer walked away, the girls asked him for an autograph and he again said loudly ?NO what is wrong with you people?"
These were 2 eight year olds girls...
You would NEVER see Derek Jeter ever doing this to his fans...
I lost all respect for this man.

Really, have you truly experienced this from him? Because I have not seen any of this you are talking about. I know that Joe stayed at the BiCi and ate at 88 and basically kept to himself. He was very quiet, polite, and respectful. I wonder if there is more to this story?
I met him and had my picture taken with him 2 years ago and he was a sweatheart

I think that you are a liar! He wouldn't be standing in line for a hot dog. He would be sitting in a section that would be waited on! If you are going to lie try to make it interesting!
