I don't know what nationality they are, but they are from the Islamic area that is for sure. Why do they continue to buy up gas stations/convenience stores. Rhumors around this small town, a lot of them are correct. So if true their business's aren't doing so well, how do they stay in business...I know the US government gives them interest free loans, with up to 8yrs to pay it back, you and I get that don't we...But how do they pay for GA$?.. I am not paranoid, but I don't like the fact NON AMERICANS are buying up UNDERGROUND NEIGHBORHOOD BOMBS,Kirks is hush hush for sale, that is near a national waterway, I don't want them buying up our area. BOOM!!!!! How many people would be affected if they pulled off what people are capable of doing?????...Mr.Kirk has tried to sell it to "them" and it fell through, now another one wants to buy it.....American's who sell to them have lost their ever loving minds and sell out the community that has kept them living very well for all these years!!!!!!!!!!

Loans with no interest... Are you kidding me? You have to be a citizen to even receive one. Thus, non-americans are not able to recieve those types of government aid loans.

Don't kick a person for being able to save the money and keep a good enough credit score to purchase a business.

I'm the product of one of these "non-americans". I've completed college and now run a large operation for one the largest companies in the world.

You have your right to your way of thinking, just hope that next time you put a bit of fact into your story.

YEAH RIGHT. EVERYONE KNOWS THAT IF YOU COME HERE FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY, YOU GET LOANS, TAX RELIEF FOR SEVEN YEARS ON THE BUSINESS THAT YOU BUY, ONLY TO TURN AROUND AND "SELL" IT TO ANOTHER RELATIVE, FOR ANOTHER SEVEN YEARS AND SO ON DOWN THE LINE. IT IS A FACT. YOU DON`T EVEN HAVE TO BE A CITIZEN TO GET WELFARE, AND I KNOW FOR A FACT, THAT YOU DON`T HAVE TO BE ONE TO GET THE LOANS.

don't be ignorant. Just because they're from another country doesn't make them non-american. they're americans that are from another country. you're referring to fuel pro, and they aren't even muslim... they're Indian (not Arab) and they're Hindu (not Muslim). And they happen to be nice people. They're more friendly than the white gas station owners around town, so if they want to run a business, more power to them.

You must have a secure job. Is it fair to give extra benefits to people coming into the country when there are none given to Americans already here?

I have read all of your comments and I feel that we need to be more open minded and people stop being so judgemental. I have lived here all of my life, and there are many Business owners in this town that I avoid because of there better than thou attitude, give these people a smile and you may find a friend not an enemy also I would like to add Any time that you would like to go out of the states to work or have a business you will find special advantages with taxes, Etc.

you are correct. they are the nicest gas station people in henry county. that is the only gas station i will go to in town if i go to any here. i usually go out of my way to shop else where. people in this town are the rudest people i have ever met anywhere in the U.S.A

Well I was looking for some good article regarding how to buy a gas station etc.
I end up reading these comments about how foreigners are coming and getting business away.
My friend these guys are hard working people and top of that most of them brought in their money from abroad too.
I would ask how would you like to invest 400-500k liquid cash from your own pocket to buy a 2million dollar gas station?? on top of it working hours would not be less than 60 per week.
You have to forego your all social activities just for the business. Are you ready for it??
A BIG NO......THEN ATLEAST THIS BUSINESS IS NOT FOR.....I WOULD SAY NON OF THE RETAIL BUSINESS IS EASY.

The folks at Kirks are very laid back, friendly as can be! They know what I need when I go in there and have it ready! The ones at Fuel Pro are good folks too. As far as other gas stations, Little General down from Lowes has some real nice people working there also.

I did agree with you at first.. It hurt when Charles sold Kirks and I actually went to Lakeview for the longest until my husband told me how nice Neal was and that I needed to give him a try. I did and can honestly say that now that he has lottery as well I will always do my business with him. He is not Islam but Indian and wouldn't hurt a fly ask him, he won't even come out and check in deer. I love doing business with them and believe me I am there daily and always greeted with a smile and joke..that's more than I can say for any other station in the area
