Adults with imaginary friends are stupid. Free yourself from the tyranny of religion and join the Freedom From Religion Foundation ( ffrf.org ). All churches are nothing but a nest of pedophiles and con men. The only church I attend on Sunday morning is Mattress Springs church.

Yes, because all churches must look like yours in order to worship God. I mean, after all, he made us all exactly alike.
If you think there is a God to worship why not worship in his or her real church-out under the glorious sun or stars and one on one.Org anized church is nothing more than a show-entertainment and self fulfillment.Go out at night and look up.There's the church.

I'm sorry Mr.Williams ever made that group possible. There are plenty of churches in the area people can choose from.Xview is nothing more than a show and a place to brainwash children. How long before they start their school,or,have they already? The website looks more like MTV than a church.
I agree completely. Just because they slap a sign on a bar and call it a church doesn't make it a church.

First, "the Church" has nothing to do with a building, nothing to do with songs being sung, or signs on a door...the Church is a collection of believers who have been called according to His purpose, to do His will. The body of Christ...aka Christians...are called to take care of orphans, widows, the hungry, the poor. We are called to go and make disciples. I've been to my share of "churches" in the south. They are full of condemnation and hypocrisy. They are full of people who sit in the pews on Sunday, and walk out of the doors unchanged and ready to use their new found "church" self righteousness to beat people down, and condemn an already dying world. I challenge anyone to step through those doors at Old Goodyear Elementary and find a single principle that is not in line with God's word...then, on your way out, if you are hungry, stop by our food pantry and get some groceries for the week...if you're poor, stop by our clothing closet and get yourself some clothes for your children. Rockmart is broken and hurting, and the so-called Christians living in this town are too busy attacking fellow believers to reach the lost. Please wake up, please figure out your priorities.

Christianity is not a denomination and no denomination should force God or their beliefs on anyone. There has been so many wars in history that was fought over religion and this sounds like another war.
I like all types of Christian music as long as I can understand it. I can't understand it when it is screaming music, but outside the music is the message that is being preached understood? The bible says let's make a joy noise unto The Lord. Is it joyful?
Most people want you to tell them what makes them feel happy. Well you can't please everyone.
I do know the church is helping a lot people in need so let's stop bashing each other. Enjoy church the way you want by going to the one you like and don't worry about the others because you have your own worries.

I wish they would focus more or just as equally on us 30, 40 somethings with no kids. Seems they do an excellent job with the youth and teenagers and families. But what about the rest of us? The music is good but needs more gospel a little less hard rock. I want it to be my church but they have moved in a direction away from me.
I could not agree me. If you are not single or a teenager they have nothing to offer. My husband and I left for the same reason. We are over 40 and have no kids. We would like to have had some things geared towards our interests as well. The music can be great too but some nongrunge gospel would be nice.

God doesn't care about money. Money is an invention of man and this church loves taking your money so their staff can drink coffee and sit on their asses all day long, facebooking and gossiping. It's nothing more than a social club. Anything that survives off of money is wicked. True spiritual connections are not made through fancy lighting, and a "cool" environment to be around. This church goes through so many staff changes because people cannot continue feeding into their ****, except the ones making the actual money. You can bet they'll hold on to that comfy ride for as long as they can.

Man invented money (AND) God.Take the money away from most churches and see how long the pastor sticks around.Y'all might want to look at the latest by Steven Hawkins who is said to be the smartest man on earth.
By the way-xview is a joke and taking a child there should be regarded as child abuse.

I once went to Crossview & my family did so much work & bought supplies & we were told we would be paid for the supplies & we never received any $. I do not mind helping some but the preacher wants everyone else to use their $ & he does not pay for anything. He also puts on camps all summer to pay for his entire summer at the beach. He is taking your $.. if you don't believe me then just wait & find out for yourself!!

Crossview actually just had a great message last week on GOSSIP. If you can't fix a situation, why even talk about it?

I still don't know why people keep bringing up child abuse at XView. Is there at police report somewhere? All the kids I've seen there leave knowing about Jesus in a fun environment. Isn't that what church is? Some people may need a "cool" place to come to to learn more about God. We all have different types of churches that we are fed more in than others. If you are being fed and growing in the church you are in, then you should be happy that others are doing the same at Crossview or 101 or WHEREVER!

If you can show me a heaven or hell I will be glad to maybe listen a little.Other than that you need to shake the cobwebs out of your head and see things for what they REALLY are.Yours belong in the category of fairy tails.

I do believe---in things that are true and make sense. The world and universe have too much to offer to go around believing nonsense and non-truths.

As a member and volenteer at CrossView I can honestly say the amount of negative comments on this page make me sick. For those who post here who so not have a relationship with The Lord, I get it, I was there once too, but We have Christians who slander CrossView for being different yet Jesus calls us to be different and love those who are, so for people to call themselves Christians, saved, believers, followers of God (whatever title you prefer) then turn aroun and pick and choose what parts of the bible you want to adhere too...well, I just don't understand that logic.
When no other religious group in Rockmart would accept me and my family CrossView did. Pastor Danny and the staff took us all in and from day one showed us nothing but the love of Christ and the love of the church. Since then me and my husband devoted our lives to Christ and were married all four of our children have been saved and baptized. We have all found a place in the ministry and God has blessed us in only ways that he can. My children and the pastors children are friends and I can say with 100% certainty that they do not live extravigantly. It has been suggested on this website that the pastor uses church money for his own personal pleasure...that's true, because every dime raised at CrossView goes into this community to help feed the hungry, cloth the needed and give to those who go without and THAT gives him pleasure...seeing The love of Christ spread in the community and the lost come to know Christ even though his own pockets are empty. I watch the pastor and his family devote every day of their lives to the church and it's up keep. I see the pastor cutting grass and cleaning up at the church, filling his day helping others in the community free of charge...I have seen SO MUCH GOOD done through CrossView Community Church, so the amount of negativity on this pages makes me feel sad for those who are missing out on being apart of it, but a for me and my house we serve The Lord and support Pastor Danny in his mission to make this community a better place through Jesus Christ...I apologize to anyone who this may offend but I just felt the need to show a little support and positivity for my church.
