I wish they would focus more or just as equally on us 30, 40 somethings with no kids. Seems they do an excellent job with the youth and teenagers and families. But what about the rest of us? The music is good but needs more gospel a little less hard rock. I want it to be my church but they have moved in a direction away from me.

I'm sorry Mr.Williams ever made that group possible. There are plenty of churches in the area people can choose from.Xview is nothing more than a show and a place to brainwash children. How long before they start their school,or,have they already? The website looks more like MTV than a church.

Yes, because all churches must look like yours in order to worship God. I mean, after all, he made us all exactly alike.

The most humble, nice, walk the walk christians I know, don't even attend a church. You know them by the way they live and give and not by how many times they go sit in a building.By the way,if you go there, ask them to turn down that God awful music because the rest of us would like to enjoy a peaceful Sunday.

What a hypocrite! You don't even realize how you just commented on "christians you know" but not your own "walk". Then you proceed to further judge Crossview's "God awful" music. I bet those "humble, nice, walk the walk christians" know YOU by the way YOU live and judge other people for how they worship. I don't attend Crossview or any other church, but I do live close enough to hear their music every Sunday. I would rather hear people worshiping God in their own way than to keep hearing YOU pass judgement on them for it. Think about this...for every finger you point, there are three more pointing back at you!

I think Crossview is just doing what they feel is right. I am agnostic and I don't go to any church, but as long as they don't bother me and try to impose their lifestyles on me, I am glad they have fun praising God. I'm sorry you are not completely enjoying your experience, but their are plenty of churches around here to choose from; mostly Baptists, but there is a Methodist church, a Church of Christ, and a Church of God. I believe there is also an A.M.E church if I'm not mistaken, and I bet there are a few more I don't know about. But I believe you could find something that would suit you. However, I'm glad that Crossview has diversity, it's not the same as the rest of the churches around here. I am glad they focus on the youth, most churches around here do not. I think it's cool they don't play gospel music. I've never heard their music, but at least it's not the same old stuff. I think change is good for some people around here. I still won't go to church, but I'm glad that some people are having a good time. Maybe Rockmart won't be such a drag. But, to each his own, so I hope everyone can find some inner peace one way or another.

I agree 100% that I also don't care what they or any other church does as long as they don't think I got to follow their way of thinking! There are over 14,000 different forms of christianity in the world now because everyone interprets the Bible to be their way! As long as what you or they do does not stop me from my enjoyments in life so be it they are the ones that live their own lives!

So,what happens when a Muslim walks into Mr. Williams office and wants to rent the school for services, and then wants to leave booklets on the children's desk?

As long as no one is being forced to believe in a religion, no ones rights are being imposed on. Our country was founded on the basic priciples of "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness". The First Amendment of the Constitution prevents any one religion from being enforced as the religion of this country. It also gives everyone the right to practice any religion they choose. I know that is hard to understand in a town like this, but it is not in violation of the Constition to practice any religion anywhere, including schools. The seperation of church and state is to prevent the government from regulating religion in public places. It is more of a restriction on government. So, if people want to gather and worship any religion, anywhere, it is there natural right. Also, if someone wants to walk right by them and go about their business, that is their natural right as well. The point is everyone has the same amount of freedom in this country. That is the basic definition of equality. I encourage everyone to study the Constitution and understand why our Founders gave us these freedoms. It was partly due to the fact that the British government tried to impose Catholicism on the American Colonists. Marvin Williams does not have the right to deny anyone the right to practice their religion in public school systems. If he chooses to deny them the right to rent out the school, it would have to be based on something other than the fact they are Muslim. But once again, to each his own. Live and let live. I hope this answered your question.

Constitution or not, the Christians of this country are hell bent on trying to make this "their" country. How many times have we seen the saying "America was founded on Christianity"? They tell everyone that lest we as a country "repent", we are all doomed. It's laughable. Even the Christians don't know the Constitution. And why should they? The discrimination, hatred, and persecution of anyone who believes differently than them is escalating. Jews, Muslims, Pagans, Wiccans, Hindu's, Agnostics, Atheists, Druids....you name it....if the Christians cannot "convert" these people, they will continue to belittle and accuse so-called "non-believers" by calling them Satanists. Satanists indeed....6 of the 8 I listed don't even believe in a creature called Satan.

I love this church! Ive been visiting for the past 4 Sundays and I'm DEFINATELY going back! I see more life change happening here than the 9 other churches I've visited in rockmart! Plus the music is great, I find it very easy to worship to! And that young girl and boy that sing on stage are really somethin! As a 52 year old family man i feel Pastor Danny's messages are so encouraging! I actually feel as if God is feeding my soul through Dannys sermons! Not to mention just plain out loving people that are there! But Is this a perfect church... No, and they will tell you that!(No perfect people aloud) but their vision is life change and that is something to value! May God be praised forever!
Your only problem here is that all religion is built on "faith" which is believing in something that can't be proven and won't ever listen to logic.Religions have always-always-fought education.Ever hear about Galileo being forced to live under house arrest for the last eight years of his life for the crime of wanting to educate the world on the FACT that the Earth and other planets revolve around the sun and not the other way around?I try not to knock local churches because they serve a place in our community but, these mega churches are way out of line and have way too much control of young minds before the mind can develop the positives and negatives of life and our ever increasing speed at which knowledge of our formation as Animals happened. It for sure wasn't Genesis.
