Nine men charged with raping girl in Graham County

Authorities in Graham County have arrested nine men on charges they raped a teenage girl over a period of several months earlier this year.

Good grief. Were none of these men capable of finding a female near their own ages for sex? Thats just nasty.

I do like those bails, though. Maybe Buncombe County magistrates will write them down on a sticky note for consulting later.

Sounds to me like theres a heck of a lot more to this story than what was noted in the paper. Why was a 14 yr old girl alone with all these men? Where were her parents? A LOT of unanswered questions here.

The impression given by the article would suggest that these were different occurrances by different men at different times? I think?

Underage prostitute, maybe? It's the only explanation I can come up with.

Yeah, something like that. Where on the one hand it is definitely sick for a man could look at a CHILD and be sexually aroused, but come on. 9 men and 5 more that could possibly be charged?? This girl OBVIOUSLY needs some serious help. She wasn't RAPED, it was statutory rape, which means she VOLUNTARILY had sex with all these men, at 14!!! She probably needs to be in Broughton till she's about 21. She's a sick little puppy.

Sounds to me like she was giving it up to older men who are now paying the piper. A female doesn't get raped 10x by the same man.... she was a willing participant who was not at the age of being able to consent.

While there is something definitely wrong with this story and I do agree the female needs help, what kind of a moronic adult MALE even considers having sex with a 14 year old?

Consensual sex or whatever, there is NO sense in this. Yes, she needs help, they need help, but the public needs more info on this story. And no, it definitely doesnt need to be "swept under the rug".

Probably "parent" not "parents" is probably the case and who knows that these same men who were having sex with the 14 year old were not having sex with momma as well. It happens and a heck of a lot more than folks want to admit. Late wife worked in Social Work for umpteen years. Nothing surprises me from the stories she told and that other works also related.
Regardless the men will pay and certainly should. I belive in going back to the old Apache way with wet raw hide tied around certain sensitive areas and as it drys out add more water which allows the culprit to be low enough to where the ants can reach him and crawl all over his honey smeared body. At the end when the raw hide has done it job, and it will as it tightens and dries out the skin is pricked about every inch or so and mesquite wood is inserted in each of the cuts and then set fire. Worked well for the Indians from what I have been told. Nothing would be too good for these creeps.

I find it kinda hard to blame men for finding 14 yr old girls sexually attractive when we've have whhhored out our daughters to look sexy from a very early age. They wear revealing belly shirts, thongs, pants that barely cover the crotch and have the butt crack intentionally hanging out.Al meant to entice the attention and sexual arousal of men. Until we grab the reigns and say this is not appropriate behavior or dress for our children we will continue to see men who will go for what is offered by womanly looking and acting little girls. It seems to me the sheriff is putting out the impression that he believes these poor boys are probably not guilty of these awful charges. With that impression floatig around it may be hard to find an impartial jury in a county with a population of about 7.000 souls. It,s no wonder the talk shows and comedians have a field day with accusing we red necks with marrying our sisters,and all that other crap. In my opinion the sheriff should not be making any statements as to the guilt or innocence of these individuals. Let,s hope for a more professional investigation for the victims sake. Who,s protecting her interests ????
