Does anyone out there think this is a problem other than me? It seems that we are becoming more and more of the place to get them and no one seems to be doing anything about it. We all know someone in this town who sells them to our kids, gives them for trade or does them regular. They are taking over here and we are going down the tubes. I thought when CC was elected that his big thing getting rid of the drugs, what happened? Can we stop this? When we tell him he says he cant do anything about it, HES THE DAMN SHERIFF, what does he mean?? lets come together in this town and do somthing about it before more of our children die because of this crap!!!!

Its not just the dam sheriffs job , its mine and yours too, get a set and stop complaining, assist the law, dont ignore your neighborhood buddies who are envolved, get help for youth in trouble and stop bitching about the present sheriff situation, the election is stil a while off, we must become a part of the solution by the way we live our lives today in front of our kids.

Obviously you have never had anyone very close to you die with a needle in their arm, the sheriff know it and did not do a damn thing about it! Not only did he and many of his fellow officers know where it came from it was a repeat offender and they let him go. It also happened in this offenders house, now tell me that it is not only his job!!! We have done more than our share of acting in the community to help our youngsters stay away but dont you think our sheriff should do his part too, or maybe you voted for him! The ignorance continues. No one is bitching just about him but when you have offered solotuions, called him on many occasions and tried to do anything you can to stop this you have no one else to it blame on but him and he sux!!!!

What's the problem with testing school teachers for drug use? I think they just couldn't replace that many teachers on short notice. For what the School Board spends on a couple of road trips for the football team they could test every school employee and can their ass. Screw their privacy! Let 'em change careers if they don't like an employer policy like drug testing.

How about we petition your employer for testing for stupidity?

If a school teacher, bus driver, custodian, or whatever is legitimately suspected of being under the influence at work or while driving then yes, there should be guidelines on testing. But random drug testing? No! If someone chooses to smoke a little dope on their own time, that's their business.

It's time for a little common sense on this issue.

I see you're from out of town. Around here pot is pot and dope is meth. Is it ok then for our bus driver to do a little meth before he/she drives our kids home. For that matter, would it be ok for them to smoke a little pot first. If you want to smoke some pot or dope maybe get a job that doesn't involve teaching children or driving them home from school.(Bus driver from The Simpson's bring up a visual for anybody?)

Daily Horoscope for December 17

Leo

If you're going to a festive party or gathering today you'll have a great time. It will be good to see some old faces and nice to meet some new ones. Don't be shy about breaking the ice if you spot someone you'd like to know better, as with Mars in your sign dancing with Venus in fiery Sagittarius, bells will ring and fires light up. Get the last of those Christmas cards out of the way now, so they're not on your conscience.
