If he solicited child sex from an undercover cop why is he still being paid to not be at work. Sounds like a vacation to me.

On Saturday, Lehigh President Alice P. Gast sent an e-mail to faculty and staff about Steven Devlin's arrest, saying he has been placed on unpaid administrative leave pending the outcome of an independent investigation, and he is no longer on campus

I worked directly with Bonnie Devlin for nearly three years at Lehigh and found her to be one of the most dignified, conscientious and upstanding people I've ever met.
The fact that her husband implicated her was truly reprehensible, but the Morning Call also owes her a huge apology for publishing her picture on the front page last week, next to her husband's photo, with the headline "Boasting about a child-sex 'lifestyle.'"
That basically labeled her as "guilty" too, especially to the masses who did not know her. It'll be a black mark on her and her family for years because there will always be people who prefer to believe the worst.
I suspect the fact that the Morning Call printed her response at the top of the front page today was one way to try to undo the damage they caused, but it was still a lousy, unethical and journalistically shoddy thing to do.
Shame on the Call.

I wonder if the courts will give him unsupervised visitation with his children.(It is going on everyday in our court system) Divorce and Custody --(Parents have rights to have their kids no matter what they do to them)-- kids have no rights here in the Lehigh Valley the mafia own the legal system!!!!!!!!!! What is the mafia – a secret criminal organization or close knit influential group who work together to protect one another’s interests or the interest of a particular person -- that is involved in international drug-dealing, racketeering, gambling, and prostitution

Mrs. Devlin good luck! you will have to attend the family courts if you decide to divorce him --- they will get all your money any way you look at it. Oh yes --- you will have to attend the classes on how to give him your kids and work together with visitation. If you don't then you are not a player any you will be forced to continue the rest of their childhood in the court system -- cause he looks like a player.

If all of this SICK, SICK stuff about Steven Devlin really IS true, then he DESERVES to go to prison for a long, long time!!!!! I know somebody who is currently serving time at Graterford State Prison, and he told me he has seen some really f---ed up stuff happen to a couple of different guys. Steven Devlin would likely be GANG-RAPED by 8 or 10 BLACK inmates with HUGE dicks if he were to be sent to Graterford! The inmates will knock his front teeth out and force him to give blow jobs! And if he really IS guilty of trying to solicit 7 and 9-year-old little girls, then he deserves to be RAPED - repeatedly!!!!! Or, some inmste who is already serving three life sentences just might kill him, for fun!!! I mean, let's face it: What can they do to punish a guy who is already serving three life sentences, who kills a pedophile in prison? Take his pudding away? Whoop-dee-doo!!!!!

Just another loser. Reporting what police report is standard. Giving her the chance to respond is standard.
Move on, grow up.

The wife has stayed with him and has "supported" him. I believe she must have been in on it. What self respecting wife wouldn't get a divorce and move away. These are sick people. Anyone who preys on children should be put away for life.
