This ruling just further validates that the America people do not give a dam about Freedom and Responsibility. The Supreme Court has just back congress (who we can vote for) that We the People can be taxed to death. We are being taxed just because we are born and are breathing.
Also, if you are one of the few remaining producers in this country you are about to be further punished for NOT DEPENDING on the government.

Do you not have health insurance? If you do, you won't be paying the tax. If you don't, you are a lot less responsible than you seem to think you are.

Actual this will be great for folks like me.. I plan on dropping my insurance that I have at work and pay the fine that is 1 percent of income.. And if or when I get sick, I will pick the insurance back up...

As far as the supreme court and constitution goes... I have more respect for bedlice and toilet paper..

Keep in mind my friend that it was a conservative justice that was pick by Bush that gave the winning vote for Obama care, and you voted for Bush twice..

I have health insurance but I plan on dropping it and just pick it back up when I need it... I will save thousands over the years.. And as far as the tax penalty goes, a few side jobs will more then pay for that...

Im only responsible for myself, screw the rest of you...

If that is true, you have just validated the argument that conservatives have been making against the Affordable Care Act.

I intend to keep the health insurance that I have been paying for all these years unless I am given a better option, and by better option I don't mean trying to beat the system, I mean perhaps a lower deductible, lower premiums, or lower co-pays.

A lower deductible? lower premiums or lower co-pays hahahahahha!! You live in a dream world..

Republicans will use this to beat Obama and when they put up what looks like a good fight, they will keep obama care in the end.. Then they will up the tax penalty..

Its all about corporate america and and the government so what better way to rob americans by use of privet sector insurance companies that don't have to show any kind of credibility to anyone...

I spit on the system, and will beat it anyway I can.. Patriotism and loyalty is for fools ..

Sir you are correct, I currently health insurance thru my employer (for now) it is part of my compensation package (for now). Now granted this is not the first time We the responsible People” have been told government knows best. My hope (unfortunately it rest on the Freedom hating America voter) is that enough Americas can be found this November to slap down those in Congress and the Senate to repel this POS law.

Dolander I have a strong feeling that you will be part of the majority in the very near future. Let us face facts, employers will stop offering healthcare coverage and pay the fine and those of us who pay for our insurance thru premiums on out of pocket deductibles will find it more cost effective to do as you have stated. Then the Government will have NO DAM CLUE as to why their revenue projections fall short and the Deficit explodes, hello Greece II.

I would not hold your breath on that one, when there are fewer and fewer participants in private healthcare, prices will go up and not down. Besides as revenue projections fall short, and they always do,“”taxes”” and “”Fees”” on private insurance will be increased as has been done in other areas. Bottom line in ten years or less The Government will have a complete monopoly on all but the wealth’s healthcare.

What do you mean by majority?

I 58 years old now and getting closer to retirement.. It will take years before the republicans can kick up the aunty..

The bottom line here is that its not my problem any more.... Its the younger folks that will get a good a$$ kicking out of this..

Needless to say I hope you are absolutely wrong in your prediction.

Well, I guess we know what you think of me. LOL

I've read your posts for a while now (although not lately), and I must say I am surprised by your reaction to this. I guess I misread you.

I believe I stipulated that I have not read your posts lately, so no, I did not see your prediction.

Sorry to have bothered you.

Whose picture is on a $100 bill? Obama.nation, right? The Gub'mnt **DOES** own everything, cause they got the biggest guns. This is a LAW OF NATURE ... since Abe Lincoln you have no **rights**! So man-up, quit bytching; walk into that fuselage of 175-grain mini-balls; consider yo'self lucky to pay what thou owest!

Want lower taxes? For every regained American manufacturing job you then pay **a little less** in taxes while your manufacturing income increases.
