Celebrity Saudi preacher 'raped' and tortured his five-year-old daughter to death

Lama al-Ghamdi's back was broken and she had been raped and burned
She died in October from her injuries after ten months in hospital

Her father Fayhan al-Ghamdi, a prominent Islamist preacher, admitted beating her but was freed after agreeing to pay 31,000 compensation
Campaign to give women and children better protection gaining momentum.

Her father Fayhan al-Ghamdi, a prominent Islamist preacher who regularly appears on television in Saudi Arabia, served only a few months in jail despite admitting having used a cane and cables to inflict the injuries.

Activists from the group Women to Drive said the preacher had doubted Lama's virginity and had her checked up by a medic.

i agree it doesn't make it right from our point of view but under quran this is perfectly normal to do this to females of the family. this is normal in islam but most who debate me about muslims say these acts are the exceptions rather than the norm whereas i hold the belief, especially after reading quran this is the norm rather than the exception. people tell me how peaceful islam is whereas i hold the belief especially after reading quran and observing islamic behavour that islam is not peaceful but dangerous, inflammatory and, not trying to sound too religious, satanic. Whether this dude killing his daughter, rohingya and buddhists fighting in Rakhine or the various acts of violence committed by these socalled peaceniks worldwide, i say islam is radically dangerous but then i get the comeback of how violent Christians have been through the years. not to make this post too long for anyone i won't get into that at this time. Merci. Merci beaucoup.

Have you read the Old Testament lately? Some pretty shady things in there too. Glad we don't do them anymore.

Yes the OT. let's discuss the NT. All those deeds committed in the Old Testament, where are they in the New Testament. Reading the two different testaments, Old and New, notice they are completely different in deeds. I am sure you know but i'll remind you, the writings of the Old Testament, Genesis to Malachi, in the English, all this is previous to the birth of Jesus Christ, everyone follow. some pretty shady things in there too is the words you use. quote some pretty shady things in the New testament and then we can further discuss this. Have you read the Old Testament lately? you ask. Have you read the New Testament lately? i ask.

good. beatitudes are good, have nothing to do with the way people acted in the Old Testament but everything to do with how a Christian of the spirit is supposed to conduct themself today.
