What a shame! I say don't shop at any stores in Brunswick! Go to cities that actually are cheap and care about what the residents want. I'm sure there are quite a few things Brunswick could cut the budget on other than these lights. The lights down 303 were one of the few things that Brunswick did right on the holidays.

That thing you call a shopping plaza where Brunswick Lake was, looks like crap! Traffic nightmare. You could have used that property for the library and gave people and the students a quiet place to go and enjoy. Instead you build a bunch of stores that your two surrounding cities, Medina and Strongsville have. You have empty plaza's on 42 that just look like Brookpark.

So I won't be spending a dime in Brunswick!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

You're reducing energy consumption, and saving taxpayer money while lowering a budget deficit that's pretty similar universally. Most importantly, you're setting a standard the rest of the country should adopt while it's still an option. It's likely to be very dark next year... and for years to come.

But, count on the Joe Sixpack (aka the Plumber) crowd to display their continuing ignorance by objecting loudly.

Congratulations on some necessary leadership in the real world, jd

JD, I'm gonna have to disagree. We have taxes that are as high as anyone's. We've butchered every last acre of land in this city to make way for homes that look so close together they appear to be townhouses. We SHOULD have the money. Instead we have that waste plaza where brunswick lake was (we borrowed money to buy, then sold, but still have to pay for the loan?). Now we cant even have christmas decorations and my road hasn't been plowed since 2 days ago. THIS TOWN IS POORLY MANAGED, DON'T MOVE HERE!!
