That sucks. Especially for the woman that the moron that was fleeing from police crashed into. She has to deal with this... I don't want to hear about how he was a great guy. So, pull over and you're a great guy who posts bail, not a dead dumb a s s.

You know what sucks is that the motorcyclists that really need to die are those idiots who speed and pop wheelies on 224 and Route 8.

I am an avid rider and it is always a tradgedy to here about fallen riders. When riding a motorcycle you must have full concentration on the road and all the traffic around you as well. Please take the exrta effort to ride within your skill range. Always ride defensively. Never ever think or assume that you have the right of way on a motorcycle, because the fact is that most motorists really just don't see you! And always abide by the law! Just because your bike is faster than a police cruiser doesn't give you rights to the road! Ride responsibly!

Why is it that they alwas make comment weather the biker was wearing a helmet? Most of the time in a high speed crash a helmet don't make any differance. What are the press trying to do make everyone think that every death on a bike is from not wearing a helmet. Think about this " It is possable to scrabel an egg without breaking the shell"

Not agreeing they ought to die, but I agree they're idiots. Not to mention they're a big PITA zipping in and out of traffic. They're going to cause a big accident sometime, even they aren't actually involved and injured/killed themselves.

I know one of these riders, and have another friend who died two weeks ago on his motorcycle. Both are GREAT men, not idiots, actually very safe drivers. The smallest pebble can make a bike go out of control. The fact of the matter is, accidents happen, and with higher gas prices and more bikes on the roads, we are going to have more of these accidents.

Big F'n deal if they had a helmet on, both would be dead,or wishing they were if either survived. Ride it like you stole it,FTP! Stntn4life!

Gotta respectfully disagree. I've skipped over a rock while in a full-lean turn - and while it's a bit of a shock and a little unnerving, it's basically over before you even realize what happened. They bike takes about an inch or two step toward the outside of the turn, and then digs right back into tracking the turn.

These two wrecks were completely avoidable. Yes, they were tragic, but nonetheless were caused exclusively by the riders themselves.

Sincere sympathies to their families. I'm sure they are shattered.
