Why don't we ask those who retired, moved to other cities to practice their opinions of millers false statements of why they left. I see all you foreigners posting comments about Jackie Johnson and Amanda Williams. The truth is you wouldn't know either one of them if you met them on the street. I live here and I can tell you that Amanda Williams was a very good judge, was she perfect? No she wasn't but neither are you. Ms Johnson has done a great job since she took over for judge Scarlett. When you choose to live here and pay taxes here you can vote here and possibly have everything they way you want it. Until then please clean up your own backyard and stay out of ours.

Jackie had the courage to implement change in the Glynn County District Attorney's Office that had been needed for years. Unfortunately, it's hard to teach old dogs new tricks. The "experienced" attorneys were faced with change and accountability...two things that had never been present in that office. Good for Jackie for making choices for the community's well being and for doing her part to get rid of the "this is the way things have always been done" attitude.

Ask law enforcement, judges, probation officers and victims how they feel about Ms. Johnson. The people who have direct interaction with the DAs office fully support her. She's a tough woman!

What happened to the guy who was interim DA until he was replaced by Jackie Johnson?

I know the Jax papers were quoting him about possibly pursuing legal action in the Small case. Suddenly, he disappeared and Jackie Johnson was named as interim DA. Just trying to get info - don't know much about either candidate

Miller is a good old boy, who was working with other good old boys until Jackie became DA. She broke their little group up and they are mad. Just because they'd been there a while doesn't mean they were all still doing a good job or that their co-workers enjoyed working with them. The atmosphere in the Glynn County office was toxic for years and she has worked to correct it by bringing in fresh faces who are talented, hard working and can get along with others.

Get a life most of the attorneys that served with Miller never cared about the cases or those officers who put their lives on the line everyday to protect our community. Like David Perry, who was ran out of Tift County while DA, he was ran out of Glynn County by our Governor. Look at the salaries of those she let go, look at what they were doing for those salaries.
