Quote from todays Brunswick News 11/15/11

"I don't think Judge Williams would do anything improper in her rulings."

Has the DA lost her mind or is she going to the wall to defend the most corrupt judge in America? Let's not forget that judge Williams campaigned for Ms. Johnson and they are close friends. This is one of the JQC complaints against the judge.

Also in the article the DA is quoted:

"My concern was that there may be a conflict with some of the people in my office," she said. "There are lawyers in my office that may be witnesses for some of the allegations (against Williams)."

Looks like the lawyers in the DA's office will also testify to protect the judge. Let's hope they will tell the truth for a change, but probably not.

Jackie Johnson ran unopposed so the voters never got a chance to assess her suitability for the position of District Attorney. Had someone campaigned against her some thing may have come to light about her performance as and Assistant District Attorney in Camden County that could have made a difference in an election. Ms Johnson is well aware of Judge Williams misconduct in the drug court program, and when all is said and done, her head may be on the block with Judge William's. In the charging document listing the charges against Judge Williams, it was clear that some of the thing Williams is accused of were done with the knowledge and cooperation the the District Attorney. Time will tell on this one.

Jackie Johnson didn't run unopposed. She was appointed August 9, 2010 by then Gov. Perdue to fill the unexpired term of The Honorable Steven Kelley who was appointed to the Superior Court Bench to fill the newly created Judges position. If Ms. Johnson wishes to maintain the position, she will run in 2012 and I for one hope she does. She is doing an excellent job.

If I was accused of a crime, and Jackie Johnson was prosecuting me, and Amanda Williams was the Judge, I would file a motion causing JAW to remove herself by virtue of the fact that she has shown prejudice towards the DA. JAW promoting Jackie Johnson doesn't give the public confidence in a blind judicial system.

You know that statue of the woman holding the scale of justice, wearing a blindfold?

They should have one of JAW with her thumb on the scale, holding a sign that says, "I Make the Rules..."

In an article in the Brunswick News today(I believe it was that publication), the DA is quoted as saying, "I don't think Judge Williams would do anything improper in her rulings, but the court system is built in such a way that we have to avoid the appearance of conflicts (of interest), especially since the allegations are out there."

Do you hear that? She's the DA, and she could someday be tasked with prosecuting, or deciding whether to prosecute, or assist the Georgia Attorney General in prosecuting Amanda Williams for crimes that may stem from the JQC investigation.

But, she has decided (already) that "I don't think Judge Williams would do anything improper in her rulings...." Ms. Johnson, you are the DA, and you just tipped your hand on your bias in dealing with the Judge.

For the sake of the residents of the State, the Georgia Attorney General needs to look into the entire system there in SE Georgia.

I read that Judge Williams improperly assigned cases to certain Judges... yet those judges took the cases and made rulings knowing that they were illegally assigned those cases. They all know the rules.

Local district attorneys don't prosecute judges charged by the Judicial Qualifications Commission. The commission has its own prosecutor, who in this case is a former state attorney general and former supreme court justice.

Originally, Ms. Johnson had an opponent as there was going to be a special election to fill the remaining term of Mr. Kelley. The opponent suddenly withdrew from the race, so Ms. Johnson was unopposed. Therefore the Gov. appointed Ms. Johnson instead of waiting until the election.

Judge Amanda Williams held a campaign event at her home to support Ms. Johnson. This is against the rules, and certainly Ms. Johnson knows the rules and should have had the event sponsored by the judge canceled.

It is a known fact that Ms. Johnson is biased towards the corrupt judge and will support her forever.

And in this instance the former state attorney general is the same one who spawned "witch hunt" investigations all over the state. Very few of the investigations he ordered resulted in anything but a bunch of sloppy work by the GBI. This investigation involving Judge Williams seems to have some substance to it, but time will tell. There is at least one local attorney who is giving information to the investigators that has an eye on her seat is she is removed. This could play out better than a soap opera.

You make little sense.

So what if a local attorney is interested in JAW's seat? Maybe he/she thinks they can do a better job.

And, if that attorney is giving info to the JQC, great! Anyone who has information of interest should come forward.

Does anyone know why Assistant District Attorney Jonathan Miller suddenly resigned from the DA's office? Word on the street is he is very close to former judge Amanda Williams.

He mishandled a case and allowed a defindent out on an OR bond without notifing the victim. The defindent then tried to run and went after the victim before he could be captured. Jonathan also misled/lied to the judge which caused this incident. This is not the first time Jonathan Miller has done something like this to help a friend. "The good 'ol boy" system. We definatley don't need that type of person for a DA.

That is so what happened! Jackie Johnson provided a copy of the bond order Miller stated he did did not sign off on at the meeting in St. Marys last Saturday. JONATHAN MILLER also allowed a registured sex offender to move across the street from a church! I think miller is the one with No Common Sense.

It was great seeing Ms. Johnson bringing all the hard evidence up in front of Mr. Miller and proving once and for all that Jonathan Miller is a liar and will do or say anything just to get the title "DA". I am glad the people of Camden County got to see his true colors at the debate this past weekend. I am looking forward to seeing if he tries to sell any more lies at future debates. I was also very concerned when Jonothan Miller stated that Agrivated Stalking was no big deal. I am sure it is a big deal to the victims of this horrible crime!

I can't believe Jonathan Miller's family hasn't told him to walk away from this election after his performance Saturday. All he is doing is wasting their finances. I do not want a DA in the office that doesn’t care about blowing his own families money because you know he won't care about blowing the Brunswick Judicial Circuits money.

I gotta call BS on this one. I know who is posting these lies and you should be ashamed of yourself. I certainly hope you are not doing it from the DA's office.
The bond order was signed by another ADA while Miller was in the hospital. The guy was being sent out of state and the deputies didn't get him to Greyhound on time. The wife was never in any danger.

The offender never moved in with his elderly father across from the church. Miller simply asked if it was possible because the man was "grandfathered in" by living there previously.
BY THE WAY - This man was originally charged with 2 counts of child molestation. JACKIE let him plead to statutory rape and let him out the same day!
