I know Christopher is no longer here with us, but I believe his spirit will live on in his father, mother, sisters, brothers, friends and all the other children he attended Kindergarten with including the teachers. I dont know what to say but I just cant stop thinking this little boy was due to graduate from Kindergarten this week or last week and he would have been going into 1st Grade in the fall. So much was taking from Christopher and his family and from all us, we lost some of the degree that we had even before we met Christopher to trust our neighbor to trust anyone, but we also gained the knowledge to know that evil never rest it never takes a holiday and sometimes its right in front us. I just wanted everyone to know that we still remember Little Christopher as the little Kindergatener who brought so many people together and made us all so aware that nothing or no one should be taking for granted that the time we have now is all we have we may not get a second chance to say I Love You. So "Happy Graduation Christopher you may not be here but you have graduated to the best place with a God I believe that truly wipes away all tears".

Happy Graduation little Christopher. I think of you and pray for you and your family each and every day. I pray that you can see how very much you are loved and missed by so many. You have touched so many lives and you will always be remembered. That is my promise to you.

Happy Graduation Christopher, you indeed have touched the lives of many, and for touching mine I thank you. It seems not only that you have graduated, but many of us adults that have chose to be blind to certain things, can now see....and we have graduated as well. You are a blessing baby, and may the lord keep you well until we meet again. We love you.

You are truly missed each and every day little Christopher. Although I never knew you personally, you have changed me forever. I've seen your pictures, and know that you must of been quite a character, full of love and life. I do believe that god made you an angel, one to bring a community near and far together for one purpose....to realize what we have, and to change the world that we live in to protect our children from monsters.
Happy Graduation Christopher, someday I hope that when I meet you in heaven, that you will be proud of the work so many of us have been doing in your honor.

GLYNN ANGELS OF SOUTHEAST GEORGIA INC.
“Help us help others”—Motto
This is a newly founded nonprofit organization that evolved from the Christopher Barrios tragedy. The goal of this foundation is to educated the public and children of the dangers of sex offenders. The foundation wants to promote awareness of the risks these offenders pose in areas such as movie theaters, parks, malls, and neighborhoods. In addition to educating the public on risks there are also many suggestions on ways to keep yourself and your children safe. This is the primary goal of the Glynn Angels:however, the group will also provide financial assistance( through donations) to families that have been affected by crimes against children. The Glynn Angels are also circulating petitions to have stronger more effective laws against child molesters/sex offenders.
Tax-deductible donations can be made at any Bank of America branch, nationwide under the account name Glynn Angels of South East Georgia. Your donation could save a life and prevent an innocent child from being victimized.
Please help us help others. Thank You!
Now this is a bunch of bull crap. I was told by many that the founders of this group (whatever you want to call it) are a couple of scam artists. When this first started, they were suppose to be helping the Barrios family relocate and the last I heard...they are still living in the same area that little Christopher was killed at. SOOOO tell me...where exactly is the money going to?? Your not helping them...so just who are you helping?? YOURSELVES?!?!?!

I agree with you. I heard rumors about those people especially some woman Donna. I heard she stole all the money. The problem is the folks I heard the rumors from told me they heard it from Justice for Christopher Foundation people. So did those folks from the foundation start the rumors? I also heard some pretty bad stuff about them and I heard that the dad went and took all the money that was collected out of the bank and spent it all. So who do we believe? They all seem fishy to me.

You didn't hear rumors from the JCF you made that up.Mike didn't get the so called money your talking about. Also Mike doesn't want anyone collecting money.Donna's own children told Miss.Sue and Mike she was stealing the money she collects. And there was someone else that watched her write a check for clothes for herslf out of the account. Also mshe has not helped Mike move.So if you want to pay her bills for her give her money to her.

I repeat, never said i heard it from foundation folk. Said other people told me they did and I just said I heard a rumor he took the money. Never said he did it and I already said I heard she stole the money so why argue about it?

BARRIOS UPDATE: THE LATEST STORY PRINTED IN THE BRUNSWICK NEWS TODAY 7/13/07:

Barrios defendant wants speedy trial
Fri, Jul 13, 2007
The lawyer representing Donald Dale, charged with concealing a death and tampering with evidence in the March slaying of 6-year-old Christopher Barrios Jr., is seeking to have his client exonerated at an early trial.

John Wetzler, the Brunswick attorney appointed to represent Dale, filed a request Thursday in Glynn County Superior Court for a speedy trial.

Under the request, Dale would have to be brought to trial within a year. No trial date has been set.

Three members of one family – George Edenfield, his mother Peggy Edenfield and father David Edenfield, all of 121 Horseshoe Lane in the Canal Road Mobile Home Park – have been charged with sexually molesting and murdering Christopher on March 8.

Because each faces the death penalty, pretrial procedures could delay the start of their trials for a year or more
