These greedy pieces of dung know what happened to Adam and said nothing because they are probably guilty of killing him, why? the money he got monthly would have stopped and they would have had to get off of their lazy sorry butts to actually work a real job. How pathetic and how very sad for Adam.

No, we just happen to care about children and their safety. Hopefully by posting some of the things that we do will save a child. It does not matter where on topix it is posted as long as it is posted.

As a former foster child; who grew up in the system; I do not understand why this is not being kept on the front pages until something is done about the situation?

I am sorry that you had to deal with that. I do not know why this is not front page news. Anything and everything concerning missing children should be front page news.

These folks will be going to jail, even if it is never proven that the boy is dead and they are connected. They fraudently continued to collect adoption subsidy payments ($700 / month) until the kid was 18. That's almost $60,000.
I do think that they are responsible for his disappearence and hopefully it will come out in the investigation.
It's amazing how slow and inept some authorities are. Here we are a year and half later and the County is just now getting around to charging the family with fraud in this case:

With ineptness like this, it's no wonder no one knew this kid was missing for 9 years. I still hope they will be able to charge this couple with murder of this poor kid.

Over two years later, and no formal charges related to this missing boy. Only the charges of fraud against the adoptive parents.

Shame on the Butler County Kansas officials.
