Instead here in the south we get people like you who profess to be good Christians. But harbor pure hate for people you don't understand, are not just like you and the big hate people of another color that are smarter than you. Most have a goal to be more like Jesus, but fail miserably. Jesus was and is a man of compassion. Will God slam the 'pearly gates" in your face.

I don't really know but, I would bet the story is true.

...The day-ahead warnings were dramatically clear. Next morning, as Katrina hit New Orleans, Bush left his ranch for a drug-benefits, politicking tour starting with a birthday celebration for McCain, then a visit to "El Mirage Country Club", then on to Cucamonga, California. He missed that day's video conference on Katrina. Next day he continued his tour in California.
His sole contribution was to “assure the folks at the state level that we are fully prepared” the day before.” That assurance flies in the face of everything he had just been told, and could not have proved more wrong.
Video Shows Bush Was Fully Warned Before Katrina hit
By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS, March 1, 2006

Bush celebrates as levee breached
WASHINGTON (AP)—In dramatic and sometimes agonizing terms, federal disaster officials warned President Bush and his homeland security chief before Hurricane Katrina struck that the storm could breach levees, put lives at risk in New Orleans' Superdome and overwhelm rescuers, according to confidential video footage.
Bush didn't ask a single question during the final briefing before Katrina struck on Aug. 29, but he assured soon-to-be-battered state officials: "We are fully prepared."
Same guy who wearing his Presidential flight jacket on the deck of an aircraft carrier declared we have WON!! How many good people are dead and just how much of this countries wealth was wasted by this man and continues it to this day? All after we won! Its really hard to know exactly, a lot of what is going on today is the result of this mans wars and actions.

I certainly agree church is a place for sinners & not for saints. Pope Francis' s remarks are not surprising. He's a modernist, but that doesn't necessarily mean it will fly with many traditionalist Catholics. He's also calling for TOLERANCE, we'll see how it all plays out. Time will tell.

I should add.....I agree he is a man of God. We could only dream of world peace without conflict & decisiveness, if we all lived by the Golden Rule. It's the relationship, NOT the religion. A huge reason I would rather discuss religion on religion forums. I'll be visiting a favorite site today, out of plain curiosity on how some Catholics feel about Pope Francis' s statement. I'm sure it will be interesting.

since when has it mattered that any posting be factual, these are all opinions remember and I'm as entitled to my characterizations as the next poster. Besides it really doesn't matter if facts are presented, simply declare the source biased and claim success. This is how the game is played, it's been shown to be on page after page after page.
That may be how you and yours "play the game", it is not how I choose to "participate" on here. But thanks for the confirmation of how much credence your posts should be given.

We saw how they demanded Bush the Beloved's head on a platter for lying us into the worst debacle in American history.
Oh Wait ....
We saw our outraged Right Wingers were that RWW Bush allows 3,000 Americans to be murdered on American soil.
How they demanded Bush the Beloved's head on a platter for his incompetence.
Oh wait....
Yea...
Right Wingers are actually crying tears for two mercenaries and two state dept./CIA employees.
Sure you are.
We're sure that while Right Wingers hold 5,000 of our troops expendable,
More of your nonsense about Bush "allowing" 9/11 - yeah, right.

But there is a big difference between losing soldiers in battle - as tragic as that is and callously abandoning American citizens for what appears to have been fear of political repercussions. Shame you can't see the difference, no longer surprised, but still a shame.

Isn't it great to have time to write posts about the evil of government run healthcare and government run insurance programs while you wait for your Medicare paid for doctor's appt., or your Medicare Part D prescription ?
You haven't told us how your head is doing. I know it must be painful trying to figure out how to reconcile your love for unions with your love for Obamacare now that the unions have finally seen the disaster Obamacare is:

'The United Food and Commercial Workers International Union (UFCW) said it is worried that its members will actually lose healthcare coverage they have now, once the Affordable Care Act is fully implemented early next year, The Hill. Joe Hansen, president of the UFCW, a 1.3 million-member group that endorsed Obama in the 2008 and 2012 presidential elections, wrote an editorial published in The Hill that Obama’s claim at the 2009 AFL-CIO convention that members could keep their current insurance coverage under the new law “is simply not true for millions of workers.”

“You can’t have the same quality healthcare that you had before, despite what the president said,” Hansen asserted, adding:“Now what’s going to happen is everybody is going to have to go to private for-profit insurance companies. We just don’t think that’s right.… We just want to keep what we already have and what we bought at tremendous cost.”'

'In addition to the UFCW, The United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers and Allied Workers have jumped aboard the Anti-ObamaCare train and has called for “repeal or complete reform.”'

http://www.ijreview.com/2013/05/55003-unions-...

====
“The ACA threatens the viability of multi-employer health plans in four ways: 1) the high employee threshold of the employer mandate 2) the re-insurance fee, 3) the definition of qualified health plans, and 4) the lack of multi-employer specific administrative guidance. We believe it may be impossible to reverse the damage done to these plans if these issues are not resolved. The IBEW cannot afford to sit on the sidelines at the ACA threatens to harm our members by dismantling multi-employer plans,” the IBEW explains in a statement released Thursday.

The union estimates Obamacare could negatively affect the multi-employer health plans of some 26 million Americans. According to IBEW president Edwin D. Hill, however, the union remains a supporter of Obamacare’s mission — but the administration must make concessions for these plans.

But hey, that's just my characterization of what I see, and hear, and read, on page after page after page.
Oh, goody. Another Lefty claims omniscience when it comes to our "real motivations". Can't possibly be because we are fiscally and (typically) socially conservative and so would naturally be in opposition to one of the most Left wing Presidents this country has had the misfortune and stupidity to elect. No, of course not, it is so much easier for the Left to dismiss opposition as racially motivated - it requires far fewer brain cells.

Quick, let's add Haldol to the Thorazine in "OMTE" medication.
He's getting all oatsy and threatening again - you know - the same conduct that the judge determined required "anger-management" class.
Don't worry, that Socialist Medicare and Medicaid are picking up the costs for his hospitalization, medical care, and drugs -
that way, in his "lucid" periods -
he can pontificate to us all.
Let's not talk about Bush the Beloved, who did, and was, all those things. Right Wing Wackos always get a pass.
Now-
Let's dissect the problem and try to help "OMTE":
"You can't do anything to stop me, because you're a fa$$ot b*T*h, just like your savior Obama."
Let's be fair, old "OMTE" may be an ill-informed stereotypical Homophobe - insecure about his masculinity and confused by his attraction to men,
but he's a Right Winger, and that autographed picture on his bedroom wall of Larry Craig leaning against the door to the 3rd stall at Atlanta - Hartfield might mean nothing at all,
Additionally, aren't most Right Wing Wackos insecure about their masculinity - hence the need to prove their bravery by sending others to war, and attacking gays ?
So it's not fair to criticize "OMTE" for being one of his clan (no pun intended).
" Why don't you make me settle down or are you just out of BS again? "
That implied desire for violence is belied by the fact that "OMTE" never served in the military - never was employed in law enforcement, or otherwise selected a obvious career where exposure to, and the need to engage in, violence is reasonably anticipated.
So perhaps the expressed interest in violence is a "cry for help" to learn how to deal with the pain of his cognitive dissonance.
"You're pathetic, you queer muslim. LoL."
More inward sexual confusion externalized as insult and anger, previously addressed.
"When all else fails you try to say something about race, thinking somebody is going to connect with Obama, because of his skin color."
"OMTE" is obviously hypersensitive to the fact he's unable to deal with his racially based "inner demons", and see reference to "race" where none exist.
Perhaps worried that his slave-owning predecessor might have done a "Jefferson" - you know - that Mandingo thing poorly equipped white males fret over.
This issue inter-rates closely with his insecurity regarding his masculinity in general.
"That card is played out as you, try again, fa$$ot Loser. ;)"
Here with see even more support of the Homophobia diagnosis, this time added feelings of inferiority caused by ""OMTE's" obviously less than satisfactory socio-economic status.
Don't worry "OMTE", thanks to the that Gay Muslim's ObamaCare, you'll continue to receive government medical care and financial support the rest of your life at my, and other taxpayers' expense.
We're glad to do it, and Allah knows, you need it.
How many times have you said this same shit. LoL. I'm not scared of muslims or queers, buddy. I just really, really dislike them. The rest of your post is garbage and makes no sense, but it funny. Good job IO.
One more thing. I love black people, my best friend is black. I just don't like beaners like yourself. How you like that race baitor? LoL.

Shut Down ObamaCare, Not Government. We know President Obama will resist. He will insist on shutting down government unless ObamaCare is fully funded.

It will hurt seniors by altering the health plans and doctors they’re happy with, and by cutting hundreds of billions of dollars from Medicare Advantage for current beneficiaries to fund other parts of ObamaCare.

It will hurt working class Americans who are increasingly being moved from full-time work to part-time by their employers who are forced to do so to avoid its unaffordable mandates. Just last month, 322,000 Americans were forced into part-time employment. That is why even top union leaders, who are typically strong supporters of President Obama, are now attacking ObamaCare.

It will make health insurance more expensive. In fact, premiums have already skyrocketed by nearly $2,500.

It will have a dramatically negative impact on small business. A recent U.S. Chamber of Commerce survey found that nearly 75 percent of small businesses will be forced to layoff workers or cut hours because of ObamaCare.

Defunding ObamaCare is a critical first step to preventing all this, and this September, we need the American people to stand with us in demanding that not another cent be spent on implementing ObamaCare. At that point, the President will have a decision to make: sign it and keep the government open, or veto it and shut down the government.

Google "how to get rid of pop ups" and see if there is a fix for the browser you use. I use Firefox with settings to block popups. Also have Malwarebytes I run every 2 weeks or so.
Also I run microsoft security essentials. Don't use any other type of virus protector or firewall.
AVG is very intrusive software that the casual user cannot get completely deleted from their computer. It takes some special download tools to fully eliminate the computer of AVG.
Also AVG gets a bad rating from top computer sites because of this.
It was a rootkit virus that was installed through AVG. It took me several hours to pin-point it and remove it. I removed AVG as well. Thanks for the info.
