Now General,

As a government employee collecting a government check and benefits,(and we understand free use of a government horse), perhaps you shouldn't be claiming to know all that much about the private sector.

Is it true that after "The War", you still collected a government check ?

<quoted text>Sorry BigDave1, as usual we all know that the history of the modern world only began in January of 2009, course the events of the pre-modern world did have a spillover effect as we can see in the chart at this link...

Oh my gosh, look what started to creep up in 2007, what in the world was going on....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Recession
According to the U.S. National Bureau of Economic Research (the official arbiter of U.S. recessions) the recession began in December 2007 and ended in June 2009.[16][17] US mortgage-backed securities, which had risks that were hard to assess, were marketed around the world. A more broad based credit boom fed a global speculative bubble in real estate and equities, which served to reinforce the risky lending practices.[18][19]

The bad financial situation was made more difficult by a sharp increase in oil and food prices. The emergence of sub-prime loan losses in 2007 began the crisis and exposed other risky loans and over-inflated asset prices. With loan losses mounting and the fall of Lehman Brothers on September 15, 2008, a major panic broke out on the inter-bank loan market. As share and housing prices declined, many large and well established investment and commercial banks in the United States and Europe suffered huge losses and even faced bankruptcy, resulting in massive public financial assistance.
What ?

History existed prior to 2009 ?

You must be crazy.

Next thing you know you'll be claiming our Right Wing presidents have doubled and tripled the debt, and one inherited a balanced budget and created a 1.4 Trillion Dollar deficit- not counting an additional $ 6 Trillion Dollar debt for an illegal war in some God-Forsaken place called Iraq.

Now that would be really crazy.

Are you saying that Obama is a right winger? He has added over 6 trillion dollars in the last 4 1/2 years by Himself.

Or perhaps Mr or Mrs Galore saw the ECI index which shows America falling 6 places down from 1998-2008 to 13th place. Can't find how far we've fallen since Obama has been is office but best guess would probably be another couple drops or more.
ECI Index:
"Hausmann and Hidalgo propose the concept of ECI not only as a descriptive measure, but also as a predictive tool for economic growth. According to their models, compiled in their Atlas of Economic Complexity (2011),[1] the ECI is far more accurate in predicting GDP growth than the traditional governance measures such as those provided by the World Bank."

Real GDP growth rate

But this ranking shows how bad Obama has been for our economy.

America at # 133, behind Belize and Estonia but ahead of Poland, Fiji, Lebanon, and Eygpt.

Thanks Obama and left wing radicals, you have ruined America.

By claiming Obama is a right winger, he can disassociate himself from Obama. Probably the only thing keeping him from going to the nuthouse, or shooting himself.

If I had voted for Obama, I would shoot myself. Would be kinda nice if those who voted for him would do so. Would save America a ton of money supporting them.

Wow, Holder was held in contempt of Congress. I'm sure that was a real comfort to the Terry family. At least Congress didn't send him to bed without his supper.

Just wondering how hypocritical those arguing against ObamaCare are allowed to be.
And since Obamacare is the greatest thing since sliced bread, I ask you again - why wasn't four years long enough to implement it, why is Obama delaying the employer mandate?

This Filmmaker on Hannity has been blocked at every turn, to educate the American people on the iminent danger that we are in. We have muslim terrorists makin pans as we speak to attack the U.S.A. via the mexican border. You can check his website out at theycometoamerica.com . I'm not a fan of Hannity, but this link is worth checking out as well as the film that this filmaker made. It will scare the average american if they knew the danger we were in by the open border we have. It's not if anymore, it's when.

Uhmmmm, interesting, you assume the persona of a long dead Civil War General then claim to be insulted when it is factually stated that you are no longer in command of anything. Just who has been insulted, the long dead Civil War General or the poser that thinks the persona is real enough to command attention.

Did you have a question?

The AHCA is designed to fail. I am afraid it is designed to put the government in charge of everything that has to do with healthcare. That would be a single payer system.
What is even scarier, if that is possible, that the whole healthcare system in this country may collapse and we will all have no healthcare.
Obamacare probably can’t be fixed short of dumping it and starting over, but this would require an admission by the president and his men (and women) that they’re as incompetent and maladroit as events reveal them to be. The president’s acolytes in the media hail the delay as a genius stroke of politics, something to get the Democrats past the 2014 congressional elections before “the fiasco for the ages” is displayed in full.

Thank you for posting this, Wesley Pruden does have a gift for the turn of phrase:

"The editors of The New York Times, Mr. Obama’s most reliable sycophants, are deep in mourning, but working furiously to apply more rouge to the corpse before it turns the parlor too fragrant for a wake. It’s summer, and they’re running out of ice."

"Handwringing and delay is never a strategy for D-Day; when the beach slides under the bottom of the Higgins boats it’s too late to consider whether the invasion was a good idea."

As Mr Pruden noted, the WSJ wasn't too shabby either:
'Pundits and professors are rifling through the thesaurus, looking for the right word to describe what the Wall Street Journal calls “a fiasco for the ages.” The Journal editorialists reminded everyone that they “fought the Affordable Care Act from start to passage, and we’d like to apologize to our readers. It turns out we weren’t nearly critical enough.”'

Why do Right Wingers never tell the "whole truth"
Having been to England a half dozen times myself - I noted that people in England love the government run National Health Service.
If you want to commit career suicide as a politician in England - just propose doing away with the National Health Service.
Why not tell Americans how much the countries with government run health services love them and would never give them up ?
Wait ..... never mind.
I have friends in Canada, Italy, New Zealand and Costa Rica who say its the best thing going, ALL of them are from the U.S. Its the most common form of health care in the world, and they are all rated higher by the W.H.O. than the U.S. Keep believing the fairytale, corporate American just loves you.
