Could you please elaborate on this, because while I think I understand your point, I am curious as to what leads you to this conclusion.
Long, long ago pin artisans produced all the pins in all the world by hand and did a fine job at it. They couldn't produce very many however and the price of pins was quite high. Then a machine was invented and talented pin artisans were no longer needed. For 300 years that is the way the world worked. And the factory owners did very, very well and those that worked in them (and the offices) always had a job if they did what they were told, followed the rules and showed up on time. There were plenty of average jobs for average people. Life was good (while it lasted).

Now the world has changed and outsourcing and automation and marketing and the internet punish the average worker who has an average job. The unions can't do anything about it really. Neither can conservatives or liberals, but they won't tell you that.

But there still are plenty of opportunities for those who are not satisfied with just following instructions and showing up on time.

I agree, however the "opportunity" to get on the government dime is what obama and the dems are pushing to increase their voting base ( it is working ). All part of the socialist plan.

said the idiot. I love the way you republiKKKans still, even after a landslide loss, throw around your favorite buzz words and accusations. You've been doing it for so long now, even you don't remember what they mean. Please, enlighten us. Explain what this "socialist plan" is....lol. Also, explain how Obama is a "socialist" or "communist" or a "dictator". Explain what is so bad about "Obamacare", etc, etc. And try doing it without using talking points from Faux News....lol.

They can't do it.

The thing is, they SHOULD be embarrassed by being the media-puppets of Faux News and Boortz and Hannity. But they just aren't smart enough to realize how dumb they are.

@B-MAN2

"favorite buzzwords and accusations" - oh, like "republiciKKKans". And if you would exert a little effort and go back a few pages (probably wouldn't take but 5 or 10 at most) all your questions have been answered numerous times. So what is your source for information - MSNBC?.. Now there's a joke. And losing an election does not change the fact that we think the country is headed down the road to disaster. It just means the majority of the electorate was sadly ill-informed.

What "disaster" are we headed for? Is it actually possible to get a worse disaster than the state the country was in when Bush left office?

"I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody." Obama in his own words. If you don't think that statement has socialist roots than you are a fool.

Unemployment was less than 5% when Harry and Nancy took over in 2007 Bush's last year. Where is it now? Today we have the most People on Food Stamps in the history of the United States.

Absolute hogwash.
BUSH created the deficit through the following means:
1. Two unfunded wars that cost a LOT.
2. Income reduction by cutting taxes, particularly on the top percent.
3. Income reduction by tanking the economy.
4. He necessitated bailouts by tanking the economy and deregulating banking and wall street. This cost a lot.
You don't get to set the house on fire and then pretend it's somebody elses fault just because your term ended.
Let me be clear - This is NOT a mystery. It's extremely obvious and basic. Pretending it isn't true isn't fooling anybody- it's just living in some alternative Republican reality. But everybody else under the sun gets it...
Jeeze... someone is still pretending Bush was "doing fine"?

Even intelligent Republicans I know don't try to pretend that silliness.

Only fools believe that Bush was the reason we are in the shape we are in today. Unemployment has double. People on food stamps at an all time high. No budget passed in three years. Your stupid if you do not take into account the past four years.

Daily Horoscope for June 19

Capricorn

You're feeling slightly unconventional and you're looking for activities that will reflect your mood. You certainly won't be very keen on doing things that are drearily predictable or boring, although you'll grit your teeth and get on with them if you have no choice. But ideally you should do things on the spur of the moment, preferably in the company of people who make you feel alive and alert.
