Ok, as long as you feel the need to go here.
1. Facts mean nothing to them - Yet you call Obama socialist - when it is FACT that he is not socialist. You're wrong.
2. Fighting tooth and nail to defeat the president can be done - in FACT it already has been done - and that's why the Republicans got trounced in the last election. If the GOP has ANY hope of staying relevent, they need to actually work with the rest of the country. Again - you're wrong.
3. All you need to do is get people active - just been done - people have been active - and America rejected your narrow-minded pandering to the rich and corporate - you're wrong again.
4. It's spelled D-I-R-E, not DIAR - and you want to discuss vocabulary? Again - you're wrong.
Give it a rest.
1. That's your opinion. Think Obamacare...Socialized medicine
2. Don't forget the midterm election.
3. Refer to #3.
4. You spelled "dire" correctly, but your thinking is wrong.(My opinion...well and the numbers but you all ignored that when you voted the failure back in.)

There's a radio station in Illinois that's broadcasting directions for disenchanted Republicans on how to get to Canada... how to cross the boarder... what documents they need... and how to apply for political asylum. Then they can live in a more complete "socialist" democratic society.
Companies that move their operations to foreign countries are a lot of the problem. They are treasonous and are traitors as much or more than a person in a position of trust who sells secrets to the enemy. If a good company can't make money in the American economy, no matter how bad Republicans have corrupted it, the owners and management don't deserve the position of trust they've been given by their customers.
You win the funniest post of the day. It's particularly hilarious.

The President, and by inference the Democratic party is no more a "socialist" than Mitt Romney, and by inference the Republican party are members of the Ku Klux Klan or the John Birch Society. It's true, in a few isolated cases both scenarios are true. But the majority in both cases are just Americans voting their convictions.
Like someone else here has said... once again, just like 2008...Republicans lost the election... get over it !! Democrats lost in 2000 and 2004 and see all the bad things that happened. Even the most cynical and jaded Conservative wouldn't want the country to go back to the failed policies and paranoia of the Bush/Cheney Administration.
Don't get your panties in a bunch about the election. Unless Republicans don't learn from this election they should be back in the White House in 2016. If they didn't learn the lesson of inclusiveness and compromise however, this might be the beginning of a permanent Democratic Majority. That wouldn't be good for the country any more than a Permanent Republican Majority would be. That's why we have a two party system, to bring diversity to the American political discourse.
Of course, if Republicans didn't learn from the last two election then they could go the way of the Whig Party, who actually won the Presidency last in the 1840's.
Oh, yeah. You sound as if you would REALLY be disappointed if the Democrats stayed in office FOREVER.*rolling eyes* The electorate proved how horribly uninformed they are by reelecting a proven failure. That doesn't say much for the intelligence quotient of the electorate.

On the contrary Jimminy Cricket... I and a lot of other Democrats do indeed know what "Socialism" is... real socialists don't want to be associated with either Republicans or Democrats.
I suggest you actually look up a definition of "socialist" before you start shooting off your opinion.
And I repeat, being a Democrat doesn't make a person (or a President) a socialist any more than being a Republican makes one a member of the Ku Klux Klan. Maybe to some people Democrats seem to resemble socialists... just like to some people Republicans resemble racists and Ku Klux Klan members. In both case I'm certain the resemblence is superficial and the person, whether Democrat or Republican is truly only an American without the negative attributes placed on them by the other party.
Being a democrat doesn't make one a socialist. A president who promotes socialist policies and an electorate that supports that president.....well, that's a different story. See how that works?

ahh contrair peckerwood... the worst thing for democracy is when a single party has control of all three branches of government. Regardless of the distribution a 2/1 divide regardless of who has the 2 is the only way effective compromise can take place. The problem of late has been a noticable hesitancy on the part of a group of Republicans elected in 2010 to compromise with anybody. The downfall of the Republican party will be thoe guys and other bigots who think and act like they do. A few of them were unseated in this election and if they don't get their act straightened out more will go in 2014 and 2016. There's no reason a Democrat should be elected in 2016 but is Republicans keep screwing around it could happen. I have the historical backup for that statement if you'd care to see it.

Yep, I see how that works...
and being a fascist war monger, a failed business owner and an ex Governor of Texas doesn't make one qualifiedto lead the free world either. See how THAT works?

You think you're shedding some light that others are missing. You're not. People understand that companies exist for making profits for the owners. They get that. You're not seeing some obscure sliver of truth that nobody else gets.
What you are NOT getting is that here in America, we have an AMERICAN SOCIETY that can be anything it wants to be. The PEOPLE that live here can determine what they want that society to be. It's not asking too much that if a company wants to profit in our society, that they don't do so to the detriment of the people of that society, and that they behave as good citizens.
The my statement is ALSO basic and widely understood. The only people who don't get it are money-worshiping narcissists.
A company making a profit is a detriment to the people of that society???? So, is that HUGE percentage of people who don't pay federal taxes also a detriment to our society? After all, that slack has to be taken up somehow. Perhaps those companies that are such a detriment???

Perfectly legal CERTAINLY doesn't always equate to "in societies best interest". Especially when those who have the most influence over what is "perfectly legal" are those with the most money and who also will profit the most. They just MIGHT choose profit over public good.
I'm just midly curious. Do you believe that Obama has BIG money behind him? Do you think any big corportations or very rich individuals support him? Do you think he has any lobbiests in his administration?

Well, enlighten me. Your post certainly didn't explain anything. All you did was sling insults. That's nothing. There is no substance.
