Yes, I am most assuredly a Democrat, and suprise to you, I'm white, and make nearly 200k/year... I wouldn't mind paying the tax if they would go ahead and repeal the Bush tax cuts. That's the only way out grandchildren will possibly be out of debt. If the Republicans regain control they have ABSOLUTELY NO PLAN for reducing debt or deficit, or anything else... but they will raise not only those, but also their own bank balances and those of their "fat cat" friends.
Theirs a "social Issue" at work here and no amount of Red Neck rhetoric can change that.

I hope you are mot trying to change anyone's mind about the Democrats and Nobama. We have done seen them at work for too long. Good try though, but no cigar.

Don't ever try to change the minds of narrow minded people ! You've got it wrong, Republicans are the "PARTY OF NO"... even Republicans admit that. As far as seeing them at work... if YOU want a return to the policies of the Bush Administration and think what happened then was good for America then you probably deserve what you'll get from that. I for one am prepared IF Republicans take control of one or both parts of the Legislative Branch. It won't take long if that happens for Americans to see (again) just how corrupt and self centered Republican lawmakers are. I wouldn't mind Republicans taking one house or the other though. That would force them to deal in a bi-partisan way with the rest of the government.
Also... I for one woud love to see Dems do the same thing to Republicans that Republicans have done the past 3 or 4 years; except Democrats are generally better Americans than would do the trash Republicans have been doing to stop the legislative process.
Basically... Georgia's Republican Senators are a real disappointment. They represent about half of their constituents and don't really represent them. Their true loyalty is to the people who buy their favor and loyalty.
