ACORN ?
After all the proof presented of the numerous investigations completely exonerating ACORN;
After the Right Wing tool who lied and edited videos to illegally and falsely accuse ACORN of wrongdoing had to apologize and pay $100K to the ACORN employee he lied about;
After Breitbart and other Right Wing tools have been caught paying hookers to lie and falsely claim Menendez paid for them for sex, only to have the hookers recant and their lawyer identify the Right Wing scumbags who paid them;
You actually attack ACORN again.
Right Wingers - absolutely no limits to the lies they are willing to spread.
No wonder Right Wingers have so much trouble educating themselves - they can't even spell the word "Truth" - let alone respect it.
Your reading skills are failing, read "acorn REMANTS."

Obamas attempt to resurrect Acorn for more voter fraud.

Solving the Healthcare Crisis the Old-Fashioned Way
by wbramh Oct 02, 2011 8:03pm PDT
Back in 1996, one of America’s lower-paid healthcare company executives was Allen Wise, a VP at United Healthcare. His annual salary was a paltry $2,697,751.
That was then - or “the lean years” as they’re remembered in executive board rooms.
Just nine years later (in 2005), the same Dr. McGuire (still stuck at stingy United Healthcare)“earned”$124,80 0,000 in salary alone.
Unfortunately for McGuire, 1996 was to be his last year milking the system due to his standout felonious role in a major stock options scandal (see "Legal Issues").
The SEC fined McGuire $468 million, which I assume came off the top of his parting gift from UH, a $1.1 BILLION (with a capital “B”) golden parachute. It was (at the time) the largest parting gift ever awarded any corporate chief executive in the history of mankind; in fact, probably the largest since the Cretaceous Period, but accurate corporate record-keeping suffered even back then.
All the articles that I read were somewhat old and said that his golden parachute COULD be worth up to 1.5 billion dollars. This guy was a sleaseball and United Healthcare let him go. He did walk away with 180 million dollars all total. Not 1.2 billion as you say. McGuire had to forfeit his stock and other benefits.
Read this whole article dated 2012 with names and graphs of the top money making CEO's. Look at pager #5 that explains about McGuires problems.

ok, I was wrong, Obama has submitted a budget. Here are the results.
After Obama submitted his fiscal year 2013 budget proposal on Feb. 13, 2012, House Republicans put it up for a floor vote.
The result: 414-0 against.
The same thing happened a year earlier in the Senate. That vote: 97-0 against. Democrats didnt support the plan because it has been supplanted by another deficit-reduction plan Obama had later outlined. Republican leaders demanded a vote on Obamas budget to show that Democrats dont support any detailed budget blueprint.
And the repubs were right.
Even the demos don't think much of Obams budget.
Ok. It's obvious that you're in the early stages of following politics.

That vote was put up by the Republicans in an intentional attempt to embarrass Obama. In short, it was political posturing so that people like you who don't have the details would throw it around as propaganda.

Democrats in Congress already had an alternative Budget that closely followed Obamas but with some differences that they were supporting. As such it was guaranteed that the particular version the Republicans put up for vote was not going to be passed, and the Republicans knew it going into this. Honestly, they should be embarrassed that they would stoop to such childish time-wasting tactics.

You've got nothing here - just political games that you fell for. Don't be uninformed and gullible.

So when repubs say sequestation is Obama's bag, they are correct, so how can you say otherwise?
Perhaps you might want to read the Constitution.

Article I, Section 7,

All bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills.

Someone is going to have to help us explain why the absence of a budget is the fault of the one guy with absolutely no responsibility for a budget.

It's like this, the demos have the white house and senate, the repubs have the house.
The house has can't get passed what they want.
The white house and the senate can't get passed what they want.

Most people understand this simple problem except for libtards.

You are destroying any shred of credibility that might still possess to promulgate a lie.

All ACORN employees were cleared of any illegal activity, and implying innocent employees of a legitimate organization were carrying out a "fraud" is simply morally wrong. You're better than that.

Obama has many, many faults. Feel free to attack him for something he has or hasn't actually done and leave honest true Americans registering others to participate in democracy alone. Attacking them is attacking America.

Here's another source ;
McGuire's payday is a shame, if not a crime.
Article by: Neal St. Anthony , Star Tribune
Updated: April 21, 2006 - 11:08 PM
You could view the conciliatory gesture last week by UnitedHealth Group CEO Bill McGuire to voluntarily forgo any more millions in option grants as a first try at a low-cost settlement with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
It may take a lot more than that.
The company told the Star Tribune this week that the board of directors had to approve the selected dates and that the practice was halted in 2005.
"Dollar Bill" has made lots of news with cash-and-stock paydays that have topped $100 million in recent years -- and he's still sitting atop stock options valued at $1.6 BILLION.
Still, ISS said, it's concerned that the board's compensation committee has failed in its duty to "provide oversight to the executive pay practices and administered a flawed employment contract. The over $1 BILLION that Dr. McGuire currently holds in stock grants.
McGuire and his executive crew have set new standards for wealth that have drawn envy as well as ire from country clubs and executive suites nationally.
"Even if there's nothing illegal at United, this is the extreme of obscenity in corporate governance," said Brother Louis DeThomasis, the chancellor of St. Mary's University, a onetime successful entrepreneur and a veteran board member who writes and lectures about business ethics. "We must reward excellence in performance. But handing people eternal paradise ...$1.6 BILLION worth of options is a bit much."

Here is the other link. 2006??? I know your cut and paste stated that, but why reference such an OLD article? This is 2013. How about something more current. It would have a greater impact, don't 'cha know.(BTW, I DO agree that his pay was insane.)

You mean we might have to fill out a form???!!
And we might actually have to know what our health insurance policy covers?!!???
Do they REALLY expect people to give a crap about their health and to actually pay attention to what they are spending their money on?!!
The NERVE of Obama! That's just un-American.
That's a pathetic response even by YOUR standards. A form???? One form????? People gripe when they go to the doc NOW and have to update their records. Imagine 15 or more pages to get their insurance. It's going to be GOOD.

Given the fact that you know so little, doesn't it seem a bit out of place that you would use derisive names to describe those who know more than you?

You've picked a 'side' like picking a sports team before you even know if the players are any good. Maybe you should give some thought to that.

Is that sort of like Obama registering voters when signing up for Obamacare?
And who verifies those voters?
And how many times do those voters vote in each election?
And how many of those voters are illegal?

Here's a question for you specifically, Bored:

Who are the Koch Brothers, do they or do they not attempt to influence American politics, if they do what methodology do they use, and what would they gain if they were successful at influencing legislation in this country?

Do some studying on that and let us know what you come up with.

Oh, I know where you stand. and I know where I stand and it's not your side.

this is your side.

In September, the Columbus Dispatch in Ohio reported this sad and ugly news:More than one out of every five registered Ohio voters is probably ineligible to vote. In two counties, the number of registered voters actually exceeds the voting-age population: Northwestern Ohios Wood County shows 109 registered voters for every 100 eligible, while in Lawrence County along the Ohio River its a mere 104 registered per 100 eligible. Another 31 counties show registrations at more than 90 percent of those eligible, a rate regarded as unrealistic by most voting experts. The national average is a little more than 70 percent. In a close presidential election where every vote might count, which ones to count might become paramount on Election Day and in possible legal battles afterward. The Dispatch asked Ohios chief elections official, Secretary of State Jon Husted, what could be done about this problem. His answer? Not enough. Nine months ago, he asked U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder for a personal meeting to discuss how to balance seemingly conflicting federal laws so he could pare Ohios dirty voter list without removing truly eligible voters. Holders office never even bothered to reply to either Husted or the newspaper. What does that tell you? It tells me voter fraud is and was an important tactic in re-electing Holders boss and Democrats throughout the country. Anyway, we all know how Ohio voted.
