Ms. Nunn has actively reached out to the LGBT community for campaign cash and votes. In private, Ms. Nunn reportedly says that she supports LGBT issues and may even "personally" support marriage equality. Her campaign, however, has thus far been stone-cold silent on gay issues.
Who is this woman and for what does she stand?

Stephen Hawking, I'm surprized you give him any credence considering he's just another scientist who lives to persure grant money.
Good point, although I do have some admiration for anyone that has fought as hard as he has to overcome their disabilities, the truth is that none of his peers in the scientific world have given much credence to any of his theories of the past twenty years.

No. That is not even CLOSE to what happened. A completely false claim on your part. In fact Aggie- you just told a lie.
"told a lie" - nope. But I was mistaken. I forgot the initial context. I listed examples of Leftist policies that were disasters: "war on poverty", "nationalizing" public education through the creation of the Dept of Education and the belief that raising taxes on businesses would lead to job creation. You then responded with a completely irrelevant graph that did not pertain to the subject. As we continued back and forth I mistakenly thought you had brought up the "raising taxes on businesses" initially. One point for you.

Sure looks like I used it in the proper context.
fas·cism
noun
an authoritarian and nationalistic right-wing system of government and social organization.
synonyms: authoritarianism, totalitarianism, dictatorship, despotism, autocracy; Nazism, rightism; nationalism, xenophobia, racism, anti-Semitism; jingoism, isolationism; neofascism, neo-Nazism
(in general use) extreme right-wing, authoritarian, or intolerant views or practice.
fascism: a way of organizing a society in which a government ruled by a dictator controls the lives of the people and in which people are not allowed to disagree with the government

Hmmm, "in which people are not allowed to disagree with the government", or perhaps where people who dare to disagree with the government are called racists or greedy or selfish. Check.

==========

Philosophy of government that stresses the primacy and glory of the state, unquestioning obedience to its leader, subordination of the individual will to the state's authority, and harsh suppression of dissent.

"primacy and glory of the state" or the government itself, perhaps? Check.

"unquestioning obedience to its leader" - you members of the other party had better not DARE to interfere with what Obama wants to do. Check.

"subordination of the individual will" - Check

"suppression of dissent" - having the IRS deny 501(c)(4) status to those organizations that disagree - Check investigating journalists (and their parents)- Check subpoenaing phone records and emails of journalists - Check.

Yep, the current Left is looking more and more fascist all the time.

Or let's look at it these descriptive items regarding fascism. Now just which party do these goals march most in lock-step with? Anyone, anyone.

"Where socialism nationalized property explicitly, fascism did so implicitly, by requiring owners to use their property in the “national interest”—that is, as the autocratic authority conceived it."

"Where socialism abolished all market relations outright, fascism left the appearance of market relations while planning all economic activities."

" Where socialism abolished money and prices, fascism controlled the monetary system and set all prices and wages politically."

"Under fascism, the state, through official cartels, controlled all aspects of manufacturing, commerce, finance, and agriculture. Planning boards set product lines, production levels, prices, wages, working conditions, and the size of firms. Licensing was ubiquitous; no economic activity could be undertaken without government permission. Levels of consumption were dictated by the state, and “excess” incomes had to be surrendered as taxes or “loans.” The consequent burdening of manufacturers gave advantages to foreign firms wishing to export."

"fascism revealed its roots in syndicalism, a form of socialism originating on the left."

"To maintain high employment and minimize popular discontent, fascist governments also undertook massive public-works projects financed by steep taxes, borrowing, and fiat money creation."

How is it that I left something out when I provided a link to the very article that you CUT_AND_PASTED from, so which is it, is CUT_AND_PASTE good, or is CUT_AND_PASTE bad, please let us know for future reference.
Course the funny thing about your post is that you haven't answered the central question either:
When did Michelle Nunn take the Peach Pledge, all I can find are news articles where she brought up the subject with GOP contenders before the primary, since then all I've seen are articles attacking her as "if" she took the pledge.
So, if Michelle Nunn was seeking an agreement it appears that one was never made, but it also appears that now the GOP is attacking her as IF one was made.
Care to address this disparity.
I never took a position on the "Peach Pledge", simply filling out the info from your CUT-AND-PASTE.
Like I said, "the rest of the story."

Actually, fascist describes libroids. Obama has TRIED his level best to dictate to the people of this country exactly how it's going to be. He has gotten his tail handed to him. GOOD!
He shot himself in the foot and so did the rest of the congressional libroids when they forced Obamacare on us. I'm sure they thought they were being soooo clever. ROTFL Ruh-roh.

Nope,
you did not address the issue that was presented,
instead,
you dodged,
you ducked,
you deflected.
As you can plainly see the issue at hand is what has happened in Kansas, and that you implied that based on the SOURCE none of these statements were true.
http://www.topix.com/forum/city/blairsville-g...
You DO realize that you are getting this story from a left wing "news source". Right, kossack?
What exactly do you THINK a left wing "news source" is GOING to report?*rolling eyes* We hear day in an day out from you leftist Progressives how FOX feeds the conservatives what they want to hear. Well, hmmmm.... Oh, wait! It's that lunatic left wing double standard again, huh, kossack?.
..........
Hey Spinergy, here's your chance, simply refute the many facts presented in this paragraph, should be simple for a brainiac such as yourself. Here, I'll break it down for you into bit-sized pieces...
...Now let's look at 2014.
1. In Kansas, the right wing has completely run the show in the state capitol since the 2012 elections, when Sam Brownback (who became governor two years earlier) led a purge of moderate Republicans who were acting as a brake on his agenda in the state Senate.
2. Kansas is now a laboratory for what would happen if conservative Republicans gained full control of government.
3. Empowered state Republicans slashed taxes for the rich, arguing that an economic boom would follow.
4. It didn't, as job growth in Kansas has underperformed the national average (as has Scott Walker's Wisconsin, another state that moved hard right around the same time).
5. But what did follow was a huge hole in the state's budget (while liberal-dominated California is running a surplus and paying down debt).
Well, libroids lie and you are a libroid, so.......
BTW, your second point is JUST an opinion. Nothing more. There is absolutely NO PROOF of that statement.
Reread what I posted about the libroid double standard. Still stands, kossack.
If I CARED enough about Kansas and California, I would debate with you, however, I am more concerned with what affects me and mine, i.e. what that fool you elected is doing to this country.
I suppose you have to take your little victories where you can get them. Congrats.

Well! I'm just crushed that an idiot of your standing has posted such about moi.
I don't really CARE about Kansas. Let's talk about the debt that affects the ENTIRE COUNTRY.

“A lot of people would like to stay on the sideline and say,‘Just bomb the place and tell us about it later,’” said Representative Jack Kingston, Republican of Georgia, who supports having an authorization vote.“It’s an election year. A lot of Democrats don’t know how it would play in their party, and Republicans don’t want to change anything. We like the path we’re on now. We can denounce it if it goes bad, and praise it if it goes well and ask what took him so long.”
He is simply pointing out what we all know. The vulnerable dems are watching their political careers go down the drain. They have no idea how to save their re-election. The republicans are in the catbird seat right now and don't want to rock the boat. The dems would be doing the very same thing if the situation was reversed.
Drop the indignation. It's not working. We all know better.

Now, don't get depressed and do anything drastic. As long as YOU think you are special, that's all that matters.
