Palestinian Christians in the Gaza and West Bank comprise less than 2% of the population. The biggest indicator of how the Palestinians feel is evidenced by their election of Hamas into power in 2006. The elected a group into power that has within its charter the call for the destruction of Israel.
"The Day of Judgement will not come about until Moslems fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Moslems, O Abdulla, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him."
"Initiatives, and so-called peaceful solutions and international conferences, are in contradiction to the principles of the Islamic Resistance Movement."
"There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad."
"The day that enemies usurp part of Moslem land, Jihad becomes the individual duty of every Moslem. In face of the Jews' usurpation of Palestine, it is compulsory that the banner of Jihad be raised."

You are a nut, but that's nothing new. The Jews got the land they enjoy from the Palestinians after the allies took it and gave it to them. The main reason was none of the allies wanted the Jews, including the U.S.. Both Israel and Egypt impose blockades on Palestine, Egypt only because it wants Israel's help with Iran. Just one of the results of those blockades is a 40% unemployment rate and a people who have been pushed around for decades. What you have is a bully state taking more land, and imposing its will on a neighbor, financed by U.S. tax dollars. Palestine has radical nuts, just like the U.S. but they use guns and rockets because its the ONLY voice anyone will listen to. The weapons Hamas uses are like stones and arrows compared to the weapons supplied to Israel by the U.S. But the majority of its people are just that, normal people. When a few radical nuts kill a Jew, or just scare them, the answer is mass killings of innocent Palestinians, men, women and children. Israel just doesn't care and the radical nuts don't care either.
Put yourself in the shoes of a mother and father who can barely feed their children. Have no expectation of having a good and prosperous life. While the state next door backed by the U.S. is prospering like no other in the area, and they still want more of your land. And they still want to keep you beaten down, and you see no way out and no help. What would you do?? My point is , this is a story with TWO sides, and sometime we are going to have to realize this. Or like a lot of loony's who post here we can just kill them all, making all the nuts in both countries happy. But then you will have to at some point deal with Gods wrath, Christian, Muslim and Jew.

You leave out so much about this situation, that it is impossible to set you straight. One thing for sure, just ask these radical, terrorist, murdering, thugs that you call Palestinians, what they did with all the money, resources, and technology they were given to foster the strip. I'll tell you what they did with it, they built themselves tunnels, bough weapons, and grew their forces. Israel need to take it all back, end of story.

And the Dallas Morning News is reporting that these children are NOT showing up for their initial hearings - is anyone really surprised? And according to a Justice Dept Immigration Court official, it is typical that 46% of juveniles do not show up for their hearings, but on this past Tuesday 18 out of 20 of Central American juveniles did not show up.

Meanwhile, these juveniles are being shipped around the country and the communities are expected to pony up and take care of them. Our foster care systems are overcrowded as it is and think of the nightmare for school districts that must suddenly accommodate children who don't speak English. Many of them are illiterate and yet the school systems will be expected to meet the needs of these children. And we still have the potential health crisis presented by thousands of these children not being properly screened and carrying diseases like TB.

Another good reason for a little common sense on the part of Israel, but
that doesn't seem to be in their DNA. The evidence being their hard line on everything concerning Palestine and the merry go round of wars as they try to control what's left of their country.

Again, my point, this is story with TWO sides. And in the end the only answer is for the two countries to come to an agreement where all the give is not on one side.

It is possible to tell the truth about a situation, but not the whole story. The clueless and uneducated are pretty good about this.

Perhaps you can tell us where anyone has said or implied otherwise about the give and take....

Your feel good message has been pronounced many times.....by many of varied political persuasions.....and yet Hamas keeps insisting on Israel's demise.....

Perhaps you can convince the Palestinians to give up their dream on killing all Jews....as no one else has been able to do so.....

My guess is your not a diplomat, nor a peace maker, nor a person of distinction, nor a person of normal intelligence.......

Perhaps this is what it will take....

obama backed the chaotic arab spring movements, more appropriately called moslem caliphate, and to what end?
Egypt was placed securely in the hand of the moslem brotherhhod, but they didn't restrain themselves for the agreed upon amount of time, so obama gave the military the green light to temporarily remove them from power. Libya had been broken and was cooperating with the US, but obama threw America and Americans under the bus to allow moslem control of that country. The final show of abandonment was perpetrated yesterday as all Americans were evacuated from Tripoli under heavy US military escort. The same assets that were said not to exist when he let Americans die in Benghazi. We have no presence in Libya now. He gave ISIS advanced notice when it would be safe for them to take over Iraq, which they have done and found the non-existent WMDs that we couldn't seem to find there. Syria now stands in obama's way and we are arming the moslem terrorists there in order to make the caliphate complete.
To those who say that it's "over there" and none of our business, consider this; those same terrorists that are wreaking havoc over there have been invited into this country and encouraged to hide out until the time is ripe by obama and his minions. Your very life is now in danger and you can thank the guy in the white house for that.
He's in high campaign mode now to do a cuople of things. First keep his adoring supporters riled up as much as possible, by demonixing any opposition to even his most inane and perverse executive orders. Next, he is trying to goad everyday Americans into doing something stupid either legally or illegally in order to stay in power. Third he is doing everything in his power to subvert the constitution and American society as a whole. He's coming to silence you one way or another.
And this is what happens when an electorate gets caught up in the symbolism and doesn't look past the empty suit to see a man who has never held a position of true responsibility. He is in a national position for less than two years and yet thinks he actually has the knowledge and experience to take on one of, if not the most, powerful positions in the world. His apology tour and his subsequent wishy washy positions emboldened those who might have been a little more circumspect had a leader they thought might actually stand his ground been elected. Would Romney have been that man, I don't know, but he would have been hard pressed to do worse than the current occupant of the Oval Office.

What Palestinians - you mean the Arabs and Jews and Christians who were already living there. You mean the Palestinian Arabs who were offered their own state, but rejected it. You mean the Palestinian Arabs who were welcome to stay in the area given back to the Jews. You mean the Palestinian Arabs who left when their Arab neighbors told them they were going to level the new state of Israel after declaring war one day after Israel was reconstituted. You mean the Palestinian Arabs that NO OTHER ARAB state would take in and assimilate because to do so would deny them a propaganda tool to parade around in refugee camps. You mean the Palestinian Arabs who twice rejected offers of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank in favor of continuing to war with Israel. The Palestinian Arabs who destroyed the greenhouses Israel gave them and who (as the General already alluded to) spent the money Israel gave them to help build infrastructure and instead bought weapons and built tunnels - which led to the blockade jointly enforced by Egypt and Israel.

Yes, this story has two sides and you need to stop listening only to the propaganda.

"In a December 2 interview with Al-Aqsa TV, Umm Osama, wife of Hamas lawmaker Khalil Al-Hayya, stated that a woman's role is no less important than a man's in "Palestine" because it is the mother who "instills in her children the love of Jihad and martyrdom for the sake of Allah."

Umm Osama continued by noting that "Allah's reward is Paradise...[and] Paradise requires from us our blood."
When the interviewer agreed that "we want to die as martyrs," Umm Osama responded:
"Indeed we do. I am constantly praying:'Allah, make the end of our days be in martyrdom.' I pray for this even for my husband and my children."

That alone is stark evidence of the truth of Golda Meir's words:
"We will have peace with the Arabs when they love their children more than they hate us."

To quote your comrade in arms: "Learn the truth."

Israel has consistently offered to give up strategic land that is a safety buffer for their country in the interests of peace. Those offers have all been rejected. The Palestinians do not WANT peace, they want the destruction of Israel. It is usually easy to say that the general populace in a conflict just wants to be able to live in peace and it is those in charge who keep stirring the pot. Unfortunately in this situation it appears the majority of the general populace of the Palestinian Arabs agree with their leadership in continuing the conflict. It was the Palestinian populace that elected Hamas into leadership in the first place, knowing full well the Hamas objective to destroy Israel.
