They should be sent back immediately. I heard one major of a California town interviewed and he said that he wasn't even given any advanced notice that two FULL buses were arriving. One bus had to be sent to a hospital immediately because every single person in the bus was sick. The check-ups that are given at the border are basically nothing. We CAN'T take those people. We have people HERE that already need a lot. SEND THEM BACK!!!!!
good point, but thanks to a law passed by Bush the lesser, it is illegal to "send them back" without due process.

Something just don't add up here. If he has killed the Democrat party then just how in Sam Hill did he get reelected? It, last election, ain't been all that long ago. Oh, maybe since he lost Democrat votes and is so bad then y'all Republicans voted him in so he would, would, do what, kill the party?
-
Bush destroyed your party and you say that PRESIDENT Obama destroyed the Democrat party so does that mean that the two are on even scale next general election?
-
Ride 'em Bicycle Romoney, McRepublican McCain, STFU Palin, Right-to-work Ryan, Batchit Crazy Bachmann, Pennywise Cruz, Perilous Perry, W's Bro Bush and I just don't know who all.
Just wasn't much to beat there. Will they rerun some of these?
-
lol He won by default. The republicans sat at home because they didn't like Romney. They are full of regret about that now. Won't happen again. This country has learned an very expensive lesson from Obama and the scum that supports him. I never realized how dangerous you libroids are until Obama took office. You WILL be stopped.

Bush knew if he sat back and stayed quiet, Obama would reveal who he really is...a freedom destroying, country dismantling socialist with communist leanings. What Obama is doing to this country is unconscionable and it's ALL HIS FAULT. If Bush destroyed the Republican party, then Obama has FIRED IT UP. Thank you, Obama.

You are right. That reelection hasn't been THAT long ago and look at Obama's approval rating. Yep! You losers are in the minority now. The People are waking up. I hope it's not too late.

And you and your sorry union ilk are DONE. RIH. lol

Can't wait for the mid-terms.

what a great idea there, genny. But just how do we do that? maybe we should start by having f-16's blow these women and children out of the water! what a great sight, huh. A bunch of helpless people being carpet bombed. Just how do you suggest that we "prevent illegals from reaching American soil"?

Simple...
Landmines.
This one would do great...

All they would missing is a few toes or a leg afterwards...
That way they could go back and show everybody what will happen to you...if you try and sneak in the USA...
Problem solved.
And none of your beloved beaners would die...

<quoted text>Oh, but wait, there is another solution- the one proposed by genny lee. We can build a canal from the gulf to California and stock it with great white sharks and man-eating crocodiles! What a damn treat, we can all picnic on the Rio Grande and applaud while these predators devour our fellow humans. After all, that is the republican way.

Reasons why Obama is one of the best presidents ever:
He is for The People. Say what you will about Barack Obama, but unlike the many presidents who preceded him, he cares about what is best for the greater good. He truly does represent The People. His actions have always been motivated by a sincere desire to do what is best for the majority, even if it meant losing ground with the wealthy, influential or powerful minority.
He is for civil rights. He has consistently spoken on behalf of the disenfranchised, the underdog and the most controversial members of society -despite the fact that it was politically unpopular to do so at the time. His outspoken support of gay marriage is an excellent example. Gay marriage is, and has always been, a legal and civil rights issue -not a moral one as conservatives would have you believe. Obama's open support of gay marriage speaks to his core values and his inherent belief that there truly should be justice for all.
He is for one race -the human race. In just a few short years, Obama's professional achievements and continued demonstration of equality and integrity have done wonders for race relations. America has never been more unified as a people than it has been under the direct leadership of Barack Obama. Finally, the racial lines that have divided blacks and whites for decades seem to be narrowing.
He is for a healthcare system that brings hope and healing to the hurting. Obama's healthcare plan has allowed uninsured Americans to reap the benefits of a universal healthcare system. A suffering child should never be turned away because his or her mother doesn't have health insurance. To deny medical assistance to people who desperately need it is barbaric. Obama's health care plan has placed America among the world's greatest superpowers who demonstrate care and compassion toward its constituents with healthcare that serves all.
He is for the middle class. Here are just a few of the comments made by President Barack Obama in recent months: "Rebuilding our economy starts with strengthening the middle class. Extending tax breaks on 98 percent of families now would give hardworking Americans the security and confidence they need." In July 2012, during a visit to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, he said, "The vision of a strong middle class is what we're fighting for. What we need is somebody who's going to fight every single day to grow the middle class because that's how our economy grows, from the middle out, from the bottom up, where everybody has got a shot. That's how the economy grows." Enough said.
He is for women's rights. Obama's very first executive action as President was to sign the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, a bill specifically designed to annihilate wage discrimination barriers for women. He also fully funded the Violence Against Women Act, which addresses the criminality of sexual assault and domestic violence and provides women with the services needed to overcome such atrocities. President Obama nominated two women to the Supreme Court, including the first Latina justice in American history. Furthermore, Obama has taken exceptional measures to secure grant money for women business owners and get them a fair shake from the Small Business Association.
you're an even more special kind of stupid?

How Republicans can win in 2016:
Get some Democrat block votes
Get some Hispanic block votes
Get some electoral votes from Democrats
Run a left wing or moderate under the GOP ticket
SCOTUS repeat of 2000
-
Republicans keep alienating Democrats but could take the Hispanic vote with special immigration reform, between December 2014 and October 2016.
-
Electoral votes are the hardest to come by unless they do something dirty because if things stay as they are then electoral votes stay as they are.
-
Christie coupled with a moderate running mate is their best chance if he passes the "water under the bridge" test.
-
Cruz just has no charisma and is Pennywise the Clown scary.
-
Jeb Bush is the most likely but just cannot mate with anyone worthy of being his mate plus he is still a Bush and that is likely to smart. Bush won't accept second to anyone and Rubio may not either so a Bush\Rubio or Rubio\Bush just stinks yet smells so good.
-
Romoney just can't help himself by saying "no" so may run and get a "fed up and so not voting" nod from too many voters.
-
Republicans needs a dark horse (not a black horse or mare). One that will get Democrat votes and Hispanic votes and electoral votes and any other votes that are up for grabs. Or just cheat and let the SCOTUS sort it out.

In retrospect, Rubio must be heavily in the final mix and to do that he must be at the front on immigration. Unless someone can come up with some electoral vote getting fix then he holds the 2016 card.
-
Jindal is just a dream because he has nothing. Jindal has reached his peak under the Peter Principal. George Bush was the Peter Principle exception and that has passed. No justification to allow another PP exception to slip through so soon.

So it appears that Republicans are choosing a cheap shot fix as a route to the White House in 2016. Bash PRESIDENT Obama, destroy PRESIDENT Obama and a grateful America will rush to their Republican side.
.
This is the same party that put the burden of Bush stupidity on our backs for decades yet to come so what could possibly go wrong?

Just curious, Ag. What do you think about your fellow OMTE's plan to landmine our southern border?
