"Speaking about the budget, Paul Ryan said,“This is a plan to balance the budget and create jobs, and it builds off a simple fact: We can’t keep spending money we don’t have. Too many Americans struggle to make ends meet, while Washington continues to live beyond its means. It’s irresponsible to take more from hardworking families to spend more in Washington.”

Higher wages for workers, Ryan.
I am in a hard working family and, Paul Ryan, I don't mind paying my fair share of taxes. What I do mind is your wealthy bosses not paying their fair share. When the wealthy start paying then worry about our budget.

But wait, if the wealthy paid then there would be no problem in the budget.

LMAO, this poster really shouldn't mess with anything numerical...

8,000 signed up? Wow. Impressive. All from one city?

Just how many of those 8,000 have paid?

What I do mind is Paul POS Ryan having anything to do with it. He brags about "working the grill at McDonald's" but as I understand it that was a short time, maybe one pay period. That's his entire work history. So why should he insist on cutting a budget that working people's taxes pays. He hates workers. The people that he represents, the wealthy, pay very, very few taxes.
He is not a veteran and hates vets also. He is the very molded Republican that all should despise. A nobody that got into politics by doing the bidding of the wealthy. A lowlife.
Other than a SHORT tour in the kitchen of a McDonald's, his only other claim to fame is he "once got to drive the Wienermobile". Somehow that seems to be his peak.
"Paul Ryan’s budget: Even more austerity
The House Republican budget chair has revived his old proposals to turn Medicare into a voucher program; block-grant funding for Medicaid and food stamps and hand the reins over to the states; and pass other sweeping reforms that would dramatically reduce the role of federal government, increase costs for seniors, and cut programs for low-income Americans."
Yeeeah, he just hates, hates, hates. You liberals are the dumbest bunch of ingrates. Have you taken a look at which party in congress is the RICH party? Perhaps you should. It's DEMOCRATS. SMH

SO! You are gullible enough to believe that the enrollment was waaaay down and all of a sudden on deadline day....POOF! The magic goal is reached. WOW! No wonder Obama's job of convincing you clueless wonders is so easy.
The manipulation of the numbers BEGINS.

When "liberal" is defined as anyone to the left of hard core right winged reactionary fundamentalism then it's easy to figure that global warming is only a liberal idea. But the reality is that fully one third of Republicans who are not 'tea party' supporters think that global warming is caused mainly by human activities. But, again, when only 'tea partiers' are counted as non - liberal then the incredible narrowness of the view is predictable.

Reasons to hate Bush and Republicans:

He stole the presidency in 2000. People may forget that Republicans in Florida purged more than 50,000 African-American voters before Election Day, and then went to the Supreme Court where the GOP-appointed majority stopped a recount that would have awarded the presidency to Vice-President Al Gore if all votes were counted.

Bush’s lies started in that race. Bush ran for office claiming he was a “ uniter, not a divider.” Even though he received fewer popular votes than Gore, he quickly claimed he had the mandate from the American public to push his right-wing agenda.

He covered up his past. He was a party boy, the scion of a powerful political family who got away with being a deserter during the Vietnam War. He was reportedly AWOL for over a year from his assigned unit, the Texas Air National Guard, which other military outfits called the "Champagne Division.”

I thought it interesting and strange that left wing World News Tonight didn't lead off by mentioning Obamacare reaching its goal today. Five other stories were mentioned in the introduction of the show. The Obamacare story popped up second after the show was underway. After reporting the 7.1 million, more time was spent on the many questions that have not been answered. How many of the enrollees are young? How many signed up because their other insurance was dropped because of Obamacare? How many were previously uninsured? So! It's safe to say that even some of the left wingers aren't sure about those numbers.
I think it's rather curious that for months the WH hasn't been able to give any hard numbers in regard to the sign-up, but then today, they announced 7.1. That's pretty specific in my opinion. Honestly, NOTHING that comes out of this WH can be trusted. The Liar-in-Chief is just that....a liar.

I have but one question for you. When your life is at end, which I'm guessing will be a stroke or some other internet related disease, will everything you have copy and pasted over the years have made any impact? Without name calling, why don't you sit and think of something intelligent to say for once, also without copying and pasting the thoughts of others. Get back to me when you have a clue. Carry on.

stupid is as stupid does and based on your obsession with Bush .....

And please learn the facts of the 2000 election, Gore DID NOT ask for a full state recount, he only asked for a recount of 4 counties - and I'm sure it is just a coincidence that those four counties were heavily Democratic.

New York Times: after an exhaustive manual recount of votes cast in Florida in 2000, reported:“the United States Supreme Court did not award an election to Mr. Bush that otherwise would have been won by Mr. Gore.”'

LA Times: "If the U.S. Supreme Court had allowed Florida’s courts to finish their abortive recount of last year’s deadlocked presidential election, President Bush probably still would have won by several hundred votes, a comprehensive study of the uncounted ballots has found."

The St. Petersburg Times:“RECOUNT: BUSH.”

The Palm Beach Post :“Al Gore was doomed. He couldn’t have caught George W. Bush even if his two best chances for an official recount had played out.”

If Florida’s 67 counties had carried out the hand recount of disputed ballots ordered by the Florida court on Dec. 8, applying the standards that election officials said they would have used, Mr. Bush would have emerged the victor by 493 votes.

If SCOTUS had granted the Gore campaign exactly what they wanted — a recount only in four Gore-heavy counties — Bush still would have won. Again, the Times:

"Even under the strategy that Mr. Gore pursued at the beginning of the Florida standoff — filing suit to force hand recounts in four predominantly Democratic counties — Mr. Bush would have kept his lead, according to the ballot review conducted for a consortium of news organizations."

Associate Press: A vote-by-vote review of untallied ballots in the 2000 Florida presidential election indicates George W. Bush would have narrowly prevailed in the partial recounts sought by Al Gore, but Gore might have reversed the outcome – by the barest of margins – had he pursued and gained a complete statewide recount.

USA Today: George W. Bush would have won a hand recount of all disputed ballots in Florida’s presidential election if the most widely accepted standard for judging votes had been applied.
